Unibet Free-Spins Promo - anyone doing it?

Just wondering if anyone else here is doing the current Unibet free-spins promo?
If so, how are you getting on?
I'm €33 up at the moment after making €53 on Gonzo's quest today

This offer sounds too good to be true - I hope they're not "doing a Betfair"

These are the terms:
"Unibet offers you a great opportunity to get your hands on hundreds and hundreds of freespins on some of our most popular Casino games. In addition to this you can also secure a €300 cash bonus. Don’t miss out on the great rewards!

Play for at least 20 euro every day between Monday and Sunday and you can collect your 200 freespins on the game the following Monday. All in all you have 800 freespins.

And that’s not all! If you manage to get the 800 freespins, we’ll give you €300 euros cash!

In summary: If you play €20 per day for 28 days, you'll get 800 free spins and €300 Euros Cash at the end.
The winnings from the free spins have a WR of x25, but apparently the €300 cash has no WR!
You know what they say if something sounds too good to be true... :(

Unibet Casino has been reviewed at Casinomeister

I think this is the crucial part

"- To be eligible for the 300 euro cash reward the customer has to play for a total of at least 20 euros in the real money mode every day during the whole duration of the campaign on the current Game of the week."

I don't think that many are going to be able or have the stamina to play every single day.

You obviously don't know KK........

I have to say that I'm not seeing how this isn't going to be a losing proposition for the casino.

It's also interesting to note that the $300 is described as "cash" in some parts and a "cash bonus" in others.

KK, Keep us updated about how you are doing on this promo :)

As Nifty said, it says "cash" in some parts and a "cash bonus" in others. That is a bit confusing.

Do we know anything about the free spins? How much they are worth?

I do not use Unibet myself, but good luck to you guys

Yes of course I do this promo.

€300 bonus we get will have a 25*WR

The bookie is rock solid. And it's a very good promo.
Several members of a forum I moderate on have contacted Unibet and had it confirmed in writing that there is NO WR on the €300.

Do we know anything about the free spins? How much they are worth?
The 200 free-spins on each slot are at the minimum bet, max lines.
So on Gonzo's Quest for example, each spin is worth €0.20

The problem however, is that the bonus chips won have a WR of x25 and using these chips (apparently) does not count towards the wagering for subsequent days.
All a bit confusing really, but the strategy seems to be either just don't use the free spins, or make sure your account is empty before you take them and then wager the winnings as quickly as possible and either completely zero your account, or win big & cash-out!
I'll be going for the latter ;)

KK

I have to say again.....I don't see how this isn't going to cost them a lot of money, given the amount of advantage play going on I.e. playing the absolute minimum each day and saving the free spins up, and assuming the $300 will be immediately withdrawn.

I'm surprised you didn't post this when it first came out KK, given its too late for anyone to qualify for the $300.

The vultures at bleatingbonuses will take unibet to the cleaners with this one.

Yes, this certainly looks like a good deal for a disciplined player. The player only needs to wager €560 (in total over 28 days) for being qualified for 800 free spins and €300 in cash. Or am I missing something here?

Hmm this sounds strange. I can't find anything in the terms about this. Lots of players will use the winnings from free spins to do wagering. It will be like hell for unibet the second monday if people don't get the spins then.

Did live chat say this? Sometimes I find their support people to know nothing about things being asked.

Yes, I'm sorry about that.
I did get an e-mail about the promo several days before, but I didn't read it properly at the time and only found out the full details when I saw it on another forum the evening of the day it started. I only just qualified for it myself, after a glitch on the Unibet site meant I was unable to deposit with MoneyBookers and had to quickly use my debit card.
So even if I had thought about posting it here it would have probably been too late. :(

I agree about the "hunters" though - hence my fear that it could turn into another Betfair fiasco.
My money is on them changing the terms before the end of the promo, as per the second to last condition.
That would rule out any PABs I guess, as it is in black & white.
Time will tell... ;)

As above, several members of another forum contacted Unibet & got it confirmed, by e-mail I think.

It's all a bit wishy-washy really as the T&Cs are not 100% clear and I can only see this ending up as a big pile of manure.
But that was my thought before I started, and I'm happy to take that risk.

KK

Doubt this will cost them much. Capped at 300 and there will be many who wont complete it even if they "start" playing and many will play more than required.

The 28 days will also greatly reduce the amount of interested players. Like why bother? Its only 300 and you are "trapped" for 28 days.

I asked in livechat if I could use the winnings from tomorrows 200 free spins to wager during the week and that should not be any problems.

Anyone got different answers than this? Because anything else would seem strange. We would not have many hours to complete wagering then.

I won't post live chat log here since it's not in english.

I´m in on this one from the beginning and have broke even after the first week. In my country (Sweden) it´s advertised as a 300 euro bonus so that´s what I´m expecting. A little worried though if playing with any sort of bonusmoney is excluded from the wr since Unibet have had freespins everyday on Mega Fortune and I might have won a couple of euros from them before playing Gonzo. Not quite sure how to handle the freespins either (if I get them). Im tempted to leave them until the promo is over but I don´t know for how long they are valid. Such a waste to not do 800 freespins

"Thank you for contacting Unibet.

We would like to inform you that the 300 EUR reward is cash money. That amount will be transferred to your Unibet account without any wagering requirement."

And on live chat in other language they told me the winnings from free spins can be used to wager on next week slot machine (bloodsuckers).

So should not be any problems for poster above with free spins on mega fortune...

Just curios what is the value of the free spins they give. I did not expect them to be generous so i did not sign up. May be it a mistake

If we don't count free spins you would have to wager €560 to get €300 CASH (no wagering needed). Only this makes the promo REALLY good.

Free spins was worth €0.20*200=€40 week 1
Week 2 will probably be worth €50
Week 3 will for sure be worth €50 (slot can't be set lower)
Week 4 will probably be worth €60

Yes, you did a mistake not joining this promo... best I've seen in a long time.

Todays prize is 200 spins on Bloodsuckers slot €0.25 per spin.

Anyone got the spins yet? Nothing here...
No, stupid me forgot to play the slot AGAIN on Saturday! :o
Thats' 2 weeks I've screwed up now.
Still, while trying to qualify I made €19 on Gonzo's and €16 on Bloodsuckers, so at least I'm ahead & don't have to worry about any WR! ;)

Will be trying to remember to play Jack this week - one of my favourite NetEnt slots!

KK

they changed from dragon island to dallas for the last week
just wanted to start and noticed the change

Sounds a bit dodgy, almost as though the switch was intended to catch players out who had made a note of the promotion in advance, and had prepared a game plan to ensure they didn't miss a week and lose out on the extra €300.

Ladbrokes used to do this no-notice switcheroo trick at some random point during their scratchcard style promotions, and you would only spot it by reading the months promotion every day, even though it was described from the outset as applying for the entire month. The b******s got me on that, once.

I expect the idea behind this is that few players will end up playing every day as required. This is amply demonstrated by the fact that even KK screwed this up, twice! He is the last player I would have expected to trip up on this kind of promotion.

Yep no good to switch game without emailing about it. We can only speculate about the reasons.

I do read the terms every single day before I play though since they have the "can switch anything anytime rule".

Pay day today :) €300 cash for the 28 days of hard work...

Nothing in account yet. Free spins have been credited between 2-5PM CET previous mondays so I guess it will be same today.

Thanks unibet for a very good promo!

I was ludicrously lucky doing this promo - I actually made profit during the qualifying on all 4 slots! Total +€115.
But of course, because I forgot to play on the last day of the first week I have no €300 to look forward to :(
Obviously I didn't get the 200 free-spins for that week, or week 2 when I forgot to play AGAIN on the 2nd to last day!
I lost my free-spin bonus winnings for week 3, and haven't got my spins for week 4 yet.

But yes, I agree it was a great promo - and would have been MUCH better if I hadn't been a dork and forgotten to play... :o

KK

They would ruin their reputation completly if they did something like that... sure it would save them a million today but it would cost them millions in the future.

It's a big company and I have never had any problems with them. Good bookie/casino, quick hassle free payouts so I'm pretty sure there will be no problems with anything regarding this promo.

i eventually received both cash and free spin :- )

hate first withdrawal though, especially when address, country AND part of my name is wrong in registered details. if it gets stuck in security i guess i just have to bite the bone.

 I suggest typing VERY carefully and checking EVERYTHING twice when signing-up to casinos!

Well done with your win, and good luck cashing-out!

after a lot of ifs and buts and hassle back and forth (mostly my bad) they have now confirmed that they will ship the money directly to my bank account :- D only time can tell if it actually will happen. i still wonder how much this promotion cost the casino though. must be tons of bonus whores out there who took up on this offer. my estimated would be that it cost them like €500,000-1,000,000. would anyone else like to estimate the cost? either way, my guess would be that the one who came up with this brilliant idea of a promotion got sacked...
