The Casino that played me instead of pay me!

My story begins in December 2010.
I had been along time player at this casino, (about 4 yrs) and cashed out quite a few times through
MoneyGram,a little slow but nothing major, and never had an issue until……they quit using MoneyGram.
See, I do not have a bank account due to a bad experience with a bank that shall remain nameless. I have since used a prepaid card and have been very happy with it. Only problem, cannot cash checks. So, when receiving my payout check of $300.33, I took it to a check cashing place. Of course, they refused to cash it and upon contacting the issuer of the check, they told me that I should have “lied about what it was from and tell the check cashing place that it was a refund check from eBay.” (This was the first RED FLAG)

The issuer then suggested that I either open a account or have a friend deposit it for me. I instead went to the casino itself. After about 4 wks of getting the runaround and trying to get paid, I finally made an effort to help by opening a savings account and informed the casino that I may have found a solution. The check was refused due to non sufficient funds and the casino says that they have put a stop payment on the check that cost them $175.00 and this will be deducted from my winnings when they are able to figure out how to pay me. It is now April and they still cannot figure out how to pay me and refuse to re-issue a check now that I have an account. This casino is Virtual Casino. I wish I would have found your site before all of this!

Errr, good luck! You won't find many who will be able to help you out, maybe one of the affiliates here can give you a hand. You may want to use this as a learning lesson. Your best bet would be to find an accredited casino from this list...

    http://www.casinomeister.com/accredited_casinos.php

And steer clear of any casinos on this list...

    http://www.casinomeister.com/rogue/

If you play at one of the accredited casinos and run into problems, then you have the ability to Pitch-A-Bitch (PAB), which is a free service offered by Casinomeister. You can read the PAB FAQs here...

    http://www.casinomeister.com/problems.php

But I'm pretty sure (maybe) Maxd will tell you there isn't anything they can do. You can always PM Maxd and ask for his advice before posting anything else...(Part of the PAB rules).

    Anyways, good luck!

What a load of bollocks - but of course this is Virtual casino. There were NEVER "sufficient funds" to pay the check, and if it bounced for this reason, there was NO reason whatsoever for them to put a stop on what is a worthless check. This is simply a ruse to cream $175 from the winnings, and no doubt they will invent further fees until they owe you nothing, at which point they will offer you a free chip for the inconvenience, followed by one of their huge deposit bonuses.

You may find that you were not losing much before, so they decided to switch from treating you like royalty, to "normal service".

Another player got the royal treatment, and defended them in the forum. Later, she had a big win, and all of a sudden she got a taste of the REAL Virtual, which gave the rest of us that "I told you so" moment.

She then learned the lesson that you have just learned today.

Some players have had some success in getting them to pay, but it can take MONTHS of hard work, and you will have to "play them" back in such a way that they think you will be deposting far more than the current withdrawal once this is all sorted - but of course you won't, will you

I'd like to think that no affiliates on casinomeister would promote virtual!

GMCBluz, I strongly suggest finding a more reliable and trustworthy place to place. If you search this forum you will find and almost endless list of complaints about the virtual group.

I've never tried it myself, but I get the impression from a lot of players on the forum that 3Dice is a popular choice for US residents.

I'm not saying ANY affiliate on CM would promote them, but there seems to be a couple who seem to be able to help players in such a "fix".

Well I have been almost a victim too of this virtual casino..
Thankfully a friend of mine reminded me of how this casino site does and the complaints on it..

I don't want my money to be messed up.

My mistake, I miss-interpreted what you meant.
