GoWild Gaming Offices Raided in Serbia

Not sure if anyone has made a thread here regarding this.....

    http://www.casinospy.co.uk/gowild-ga...se-allegations

The one aspect of this that screams scam to me is we are led to believe that they are based in Malta???.

I could go right into one regarding this matter and my personal opinions towards MGS in general atm, but I will not.

There is already a long thread about this issue here at CM.
    See: http://www.casinomeister.com/forums/...l-holiday.html

IMO the office was more than just "customer service" - all their banners have vanished from my websites and the affiliate website is not accessible. Though the actual casino was probably not hosted in Serbia, everything else was, so it seems.

Yep I found it just after I posted, but cheers anyway KK , and yep there is deffo something weird with all this, I checked the Serbian news website and translated it, apparently the Goldfish had sex with a broom handle as the sheep dressed in schoolgirl outfits sang the Lords Prayer, not to sure if I translated it correctly, but sounds just like another Saturday night for me .

Apparently the only thing in Malta was the servers (IP thing I guess).

One must remember a true Patriot will remain blind.

Could those blind US affiliates be subject to RICO? Oh well!

This doesn't look good to me...I don't think in Serbia there is any law which specifically declare online gambling illegal, like the UIGEA for example. All the same last March two webmasters, Djordje Djokić and Dušan Jagličić, were arrested in Serbia and they're still awaiting trial..
Maybe I'm wrong, but it may take a little while for GW to pay its players...

So although the gaming servers were in Malta, and they had a licence there, the casino was effectively run from Serbia. The problem will be how Serbian law treats this, can you even legally run the back office, processing & support for an online gambling service from Serbia, even if the actual gambling itself takes place in Malta.

If mere WEBMASTERS can be brought to trial, presumably for nothing more than running an affiliate business promoting the casinos, it stands to reason that running back office services, affiliate services, and support would also be sufficient cause for charges to be brought.

What makes this worse is that the Serbian police found a group of "foreign nationals" doing this, rather than a Serbian company. This is bound to make them want to dig deeper, rather than drop the investigation because their lawyers say the initial intelligence was based on lies from a former employee fired for "poor performance".

KK points out that the removal of equipment killed EVERYTHING other than the gaming server, NOT just "one of the call centres". Go Wild are probably playing down the severity of the damage, and if key staff are still being held by Serbian Police (the foreign nationals), they are not in a position to coordinate a recovery.

It is possible that they will be unable to initiate the processing of withdrawals until they have restored back office services, even though AUTOMATED services, such as accepting deposits, still works.

Last I heard, both Djokić and Jagličić were relocated in the witness protection program supposedly to work in the coal mines just outside of Possum Trot, Kentucky. It is alledged but never has been confirmed that both former webmasters are also respected musicians and now perform with the Possum Trot Symphony. Djokić, actually, was a world renowned master of the Hook Harp before his arrest.
