Thunderstruck 2 - What do we think?

I want to know what you think of this slot if you have played it regularly and how it has played for you.
I think it is very broken.
I will give my experience first and we can compare.

When I first reviewed this slot I thought it was of MG's better recent efforts as it at least had some innovations. Having played a few thousand spins I am now of a different opinion.

Firstly it is common for me to get below 70% RTP and when you consider this includes hitting the Free spins at regular intervals and it is low variance that is quite is disturbing.

The low variance means that for example 5 Aces pays a win of only X4 bet+bet returned.
5 of a kind of the highest paying symbol only wins x16 bet
and even 5 wilds only pays a little over 30xbet
Now with such absurdly low payouts you should be hitting wins fairly frequently but...
No you go on streaks where you hit nothing at all as if the slot was very high variance.
So how the hell do you win on this slot?

Maybe it is the random lightning storm bonus round?
How often does this turn up? I have gone over a thousand spins without seeing it and the last time I did it paid a fat zero - oh and the time before, oh and the time before that - even if you get lucky you will do well to hit x30 bet win. So % RTP into this bonus round must be negligible - 1% or 2%?

How about the Free spin rounds?
The best I have hit so far in around 50 attempts is around x70 bet and that was a one off!
Usually it is around x30 bet but it is not uncommon to win less than x10 bet.

Free spin rounds average every 140 spins or so for me but as with all weighted slots the scatters go missing for long periods.
The common lie of hitting the first 2 scatters but having no chance of hitting is in evidence as well. (You thought near misses were illegal? Not in the cesspool of unregulated gaming)

What is your experience of this slot?
Are they similar to mine or are you loving it and hitting big?

A few days ago I went well over 1,000 spins without hitting the free-spins.
In the first 800-ish of those I only hit the Shit-Storm once... and got half my bet back...

So basically, yeah it's crap.
Having said that just an hour ago I hit a single win of over bet x 100 during the Odin bonus (see Winner Screenshots).

Entertaining, but extremely hard to get a decent win on.

Well I tried a reputable MG and got some game time but not much, still low RTP.
I thought I would try CS and find out if the game was malfunctioning and if I could have my money back. (Yes, I was joking)
However I got some interesting information (or lack of about the game)
Remember this is a well respected casino and by the way CS were very polite and helpful - no fault there.

a refund is not likely unless there was a total halt of the game and many players were affected or a

Pretty hard to know if a game is fair or if it is functioning correctly under such circumstances but much more importantly why so reticent about the slots RTP when facing such a direct question?

i love it at first, i hit 3 out of 4 fs bonuses that paid over x 100 during my first section and the wild storm bonus was really good too. It was when the game was just released. But now after playing for sometime, i see that most of the time the game does not pay well ( surprise lol), I played at a few different casinos/ groups.
I'd expect with 243 ways it should always hit at least something.
I still like the graphics and sound effects though.

Any one seen more then 2 wild reels during wild storm?

Tough one this slot! I do like the game but have also noticed that about a week after launch it seemed to have 'cooled'.

During Shit-Storm (Good one that KK ) I've had a couple bet x50+ hits but it normally hits for bet x0-10, and takes forever to hit too. The highest paying symbols seem to go missing like KK said. I'm quite certain you can only hit a max of 2 wilds during this feature and don't think it can be hit during FS mode? Anyone seen that yet?

I've played it exclusively on 0.30 cent bets and have collected 6 bet x100 wins from the few thousand spins I've had on it (at a couple different MG's). 1 was from the 1st FS feature and 5 from the Loki feature.

I've unlocked all the features but have gotta say that I find the Loki feature the best, what does everyone else think? What feature do you take (if/when all are unlocked)?

Also where do they get this Jackpot amount from? What combination would it take to achieve it?

Im actually way up on this slot. Hit real good the other week around 450 times my bet if I recall. Had around 10 sessions of which 7 I have come away up, and up over all on this slot. Can be boring and shit storm is nothing but eye candy.
