Angry Beware of Casino City reviews

    Hi All
If you did not know it the Casino City Review Site is an affliate of BODOG CASINO.

I tried to post something negative regarding BODOG and they refused to post it. So much for their objectivity.

    My comments were as follows:
I had been having trouble getting Master Card deposits made through BODOG. I checked with my MC bank and found that none of my transaction deposits had ever made it to their site. Then I saw the light. Everytime I posted a deposit through MC I would get kicked back to their ewallet section. Low and behold I found out at ewallet that BODOG receives a kickback from Ewallet for every transaction they send their way. Ewallet is a rip off because they charge so much for using their service.

2ndly I found that when betting at the BODOG CASINO once my bets reached more than $25 (craps and euro roulette) my win loss ratio went to hell in a basket. I almost could never win when I bet larger amounts of money. This has happened over and over and over again. I believe that BODOG has fixed their casino site to reduce wins at higher betting levels. If you don't believe me try it---Its so obvious!

Net net is stay away from Casino City. They are not a legitimate review site.
    Regards

Unfortunately, most poker rooms that also operate a casino, or have casino games available through the software (especially playtech) do so crookedly in the hopes that you will blow all your poker winnings.
    Basically a 'hidden rake'.
Playtech are renown for this. I know. My RTP when I did try them out was almost zero.

All review sites are affiliates of the operators they promote. Thats how they make their money - they get paid either a flat fee or a percentage of your losses for referring you (as a player) to that casino, poker room, bingo hall or sports betting operator.

    Has always been the case.

    Hope that helps

    Hi again,

I worked for Casino City for four years prior to joining Calvin and BodogBrand.com. Casino City is not a review site- it is a directory which objectively ranks all online gambling sites in existence based on popularity. With that said, Casino City does list bonus information of online gambling sites that they have an affiliate deal with.

Casino City is an affiliate of Bodog's, and this is because Bodog has always treated Casino City players fairly and has always treated Casino City very well as an affiliate. I will send this thread to Michael Corfman who is the owner of Casino City and GPWA.org so he can comment if he chooses to do so.

In the meantime, Bryan Bailey and Michael Corfman have been friends for years, so you can ask Bryan for his thoughts on Casino City (and Bodog and me) if you'd like.

Regarding your Bodog comments, I urge you to send me your account information, as I requested in a PM earlier to you today, so I can speak with the decision makers on your behalf and get some answers for you.

    Thank you!
    Becky

Personally I appreciate Casino City for their extensive list. Good job! But in case they offer space for comments, they should also let bad opinions to be displayed, too. Until they block such messages, posters have a reson to think they do this because their incomes are tied to their casino partners.

While Silver Oak came up had to post this link to GPWA http://www.gpwa.org/forum/ace-revenu...ut-183819.html Only good thing is Robwins reply

Bottom line is if you promote rogues you are part of the problem. This case is clear. As mentioned GPWA and Casino City have the same owner and both sites prospers from a "known" rogue. And some wonder why rogues stays in business.
