How many of these 221 players are merely this "cheat" with multiple/colluding aliases.

By having a fast PC, and consistently using his coins, he has made a MISTAKE. Whilst the similarity in alias name choices might be explained by coincidence, having this paired with an equal ability to use all the coins shows that in all probability this is a group of "connected players" (or a multiple account single player) who is creaming off much of the prize money. These are small prizes, but regular, and if the process is +EV, this could be a pretty good "earner", except for the rest of the field, who are fighting a battle skewed against them, and their SINGLE aliases, and mostly slow PCs.

Given this is Hitman, and not Loaded, a fast PC alone may NOT be the answer, as I can use all my coins on the Loaded Weekender, but have NOT had such success with the slow games of Hitman and Thunderstruck.

It's possible they have found a way to bypass the cheat MGS THEMSELVES introduced a couple of years ago, which was to significantly SLOW the games from their potential top playing speed on very fast and highly tuned PCs, with this, they WOULD be able to consistently use their coins on Hitman.

The cheat MGS put in is a limiter, a bit like the speed limiter on big lorries, that no matter how powerful the engine, the truck will not exceed 60Mph (or similar).
The MGS "limiter" is set for 3 seconds per spin max speed, no matter how fast the client PC and internet connection.

    How do I know?

    EXPERIMENTAL EVIDENCE

100% hard proof, trials from before, and after, on Tombraider - the abrupt change being VERY obvious, and ocurring during an "update" of monthly new games, and resulting in the almost total breakdown of the entire MGS tournament system that weekend, for which they apologised, but NEVER revealed what they had been up to.

With this in mind, let's take a look at this:-

Holy sh$& I made an error.

It's 18,000 coins that you start with, not 12,000 like I had posted.

    60 spins in 5:00 minutes?!?!?!?!

    That's damn near impossible.

This indicates 5 seconds per spin. This is entirely POSSIBLE, but requires some doing, and this does NOT include getting those 18 free spins, or that bonus feature, either of which will make it far harder to use all the coins.

Just ONE free spin round brings it down to 1 spin every 3.8 seconds, which borders on the impossible, even for a fast PC. 2 bonus rounds, and you should have coins left.

These players may be able to use all their coins SOME of the time, but certainly not EVERY SINGLE time, as they MUST have sessions with plenty of bonus rounds, as well as those with none, or just one.

    That's damn near impossible.

I could only dream of affording to buy a system capable of playing fast enough to achieve this.

I can barely use up my coins playing Avalon or Loaded and that's only 50 spins, and those games play much faster.
    This might help

On all the similar player names, they wouldnt all be members of a gambling forum would they,
only on some poker forums you get people signing up to a certain poker site with very similar names so when they run there own tourneys they can keep a track of who is playing, and it tells the players who is a member of the forum etc,

it happens quite a bit on the boss poker software, i noticed alot of very similar names and thinking it was the same player i reported it, when they investigated i was told they were all different members of the same poker forum
    I gave up gambling,
Now all i ever do is make mind bets,
You never bet any real money you only bet in your mind.
The results are fairly good, ive only lost my mind 5 times so far this month

These players are doing BETTER than this guide suggests is possible.

The maximum permissible speed (the MGS limiter) is 3 seconds per spin. If you can't get this, there is still room for further improvement.

If you look closely at the names, other than the 'np' at the end, they're gibberish. Nothing vaguely resembles a real word or name:

They dont have to make sense,
i just looked quickly on one of the boss poker sites at one of the finnished tourneys and there were about alot players with the name,
    jtx675
    jtx834
    jtx964-etc

    they also seems jibberish,
im not saying something isnt wrong just trying to put an explanation out there as to why so many names are similar,
i hope a rep does come here to explain things, it will be interesting to hear the answer,

    Hi Ronan

The best advice at the moment for you, would be to suspend all activities with this operation until a satisfactory explanation can be given.

Whether it is mass collusion or something more sinister going on, it is clearly not in the interest of fair gaming (something casinos talk about a lot).

If Bryan is going to look into this for you, then see what he can glean from Nedplay, do they have a rep here and if so I am surprised they haven't noticed this thread by now, as it has now been hanging around the top of this forum for a while.

    Mike
