What's your favourite online slot and why?

Mine is Vegas Technology's "The Reel Deal" - for a degen gambler, the Feature just doesn't get better than that, I reckon. 26 cases, you eliminate cases in decreasing block sizes, and the bank offers come after 6 are opened, then 5, then 4, then 3, then 2, then singles down to the last 2. Suitcase values range from $10 to $100,000. The suspense of opening the cases and seeing small values eliminated is joyous. And then the brutal soul-crushing facepalm feeling when the 100k 50k or 40k cases open

    Soul-crushing!

    ------

Like, I've played dozens of different kinds - and the best 3 or so I've played are Vegas Technology Slots. I can't get into a single Microgaming or CryptoLogic slot (although, of course, I haven't played them all - they seem to release another 4 or so every month or every quarter [MG does anyway]). 888's slots are just terrible, from what I can see. RTG slots (caveat: have only played a couple) seemed terrible.

Interested in Slots players' favourite slot game and why please? Also, screenshots are cool.

It's brilliant, isn't it? Like, I don't advocate anyone grinding long sessions of High Stakes Slots unless you're a HELL of a lot luckier than I am, but this Slot is just simply freaking fun, imo. The $100,000 case is on Max Spin - I don't know what it is on lower value spins to be honest. Just make sure you're playing at stakes you can afford - I don't want anyone to lose a lot and be angry at me- these games are HELLA addictive, in a bad way if you're playing outside your acceptable allotted 'budget' for gambling!

I.e. "Do as I say, not as I do" etc and so on and so forth.

For a degen gambler though, the Feature is brilliant fun. It's way better than my 2nd favourite Slot, which has this pyramid Snake Feature - one snake per line of bricks, each line you get through successfully you win a small cash prize, and if you get the top you win 5k or 10k or something (on Max Spin). I can't get past the 7 snakes though, I'm almost magnetized to the snakes it seems.

They should be paying licensing fees, because that game is a blatant rip-off.

I tried the bonus game, the first offer was worth exactly half the average value of the remaining boxes. The second offer was worth 60%, the third 70%, the fourth 75%, the fifth 80%, the sixth 85%, the seventh 90%, the eight 95%, and finally, with only two briefcases left, you get a fair gamble.

    I had $3000 and $5000, and they offered $4000 - a fair $1000 gamble basically.

All the preceding offers are a bit of a waste of time, though I guess if you come up towards the end and there is $100k and two low values, you might decide to take the 95%, rather than risk losing the $100k.

    $100k is at $200/spin.

    So $2/spin would give a $1,000 prize.

Not the biggest jackpot in the world really.

Without getting into another "Deal or No Deal" EV vs real-life issues debate (as so many have been done on gambling forums) - yes, I should have made it clear you shouldn't play this particular Game if you are unprepared to get to the final 2 suitcases. They will never give you a EV-fair deal until that point.

If anyone plays this game, remember - DO NOT take an offer until you have two cases left and then you get a pure coinflip neutral EV gamble. Or the 2nd last one is acceptable if the amount is really important to you - as thelawnet points out.

I don't have a favorite, but I seem to gravitate to the high variance slots with free spins @ 6x payout that can be retriggered - like Isis/Supe it Up/Beach Babes (MG) or Tut at 3Dice. I also like games like Avalon or Santa Paws or Harveys or Kathmandu that have a surprise multiplier during the feature or something like Reel Baron where the multiplier goes up each spin during the feature.

I don't do well at most of the games where you have to pick something, it seems no matter what I do I pick the wrong one - either I get the lowest amount or I get the end of feature thing in the first coupld of picks.

    3Dice is RTG?

I also don't like the 'pressure' of big decisions in features and I always seem to pick (or feel like I've picked) the wrong ones - so I started handing off all tough decisions to www.random.org and have been going a lot better. A lot more 'random', anyway....
