I'm not sure where to begin with this one. I come on here and look for intelligent discussions and information regarding online casinos. I always look for posts or threads from you and it has enlightened my mind tremendously about online gaming.

The discussions at times were heated but what I liked about your posts were the facts and not the theories. I for one am going to truly miss your posting and knowledge so I hope that you really do reconsider and see how many people you have affected and who do need your insight.

Thanks for everything that you have contributed and hopefully more in the future. I also had a blast with the sheephead quiz.

I'm sorry, but I must comment on that - you've got it the wrong way round.
The very reason I myself had "heated discussions" with Rusty was because most of what he posted was just supposition and theory - he never backed up any of his claims with actual facts.
If he had ever proved any of his claims I would have been just as happy to go along with it as anyone else.

That said, I totally respected his beliefs, intelligence and sense of humor, and will miss him as much as anyone else.

Then I will have to agree to disagree with you. I read most of the post on this forum and when I'm looking for something in particular I type in that subject or the forum member's name to see if I can find anything to help me when I'm sitting on the fence about a certain casino, etc.

Many a times what I'm going thru at X casino has been posted by Rusty and sometimes by yourself. When something keeps repeating itself over and over again and you have many voices complaning of the same thing when is it going to stop being a theory.

Hopefully he will come back and continue his discussions with you and the rest of the board.

There is absolutely nothing wrong in taking a stand on an issue you believe in, but when you do so in a public forum, you are inviting the opinions of others. If you do not want feedback on an issue, then it should be put in a blocked blog.

Rusty has brought up a lot of subjects that are not popular and I commend him for it, however, when you are in an informed environment you should expect an exchange of ideas and have your ducks in a row to handle them.
At least when someone responds there is a certain level of respect. Some of us are actually shunned for our opinions, which is total disrespect and has ran off more than a few members.

Whether someone thinks differently from you or not does not necessarily make them an enemy or a friend.

I feel a sense of gloom at your departure as I suspect we hold similar feelings on very important but controversial topics - but where I don't have the posting history to create widespread group support (I would conveniently harassed or shouted down upon posting such observations) - I strongly believe you had the popularity and respect to make the same points, AND actually get people to consider them for their face value.

I am sorry to see you go.
