    Cleopatraspalacecasino, rtg, info anyone..

    Hi

Stumbled upon this new rtg site , and would like to know if someone knows anything about them. "Onnea Trading Ltd., Stasinou, Flat/Office, 203Strovolos, 2014 Nicosia, Cyprus." Are the owners. No moneybookers nor neteller atleast at the moment.
The terms of bonuses do seem a lot like virtual palace/coolcat, hope this one is not connected with them.

Any more info on this group? I know they don't even respond to e-mails or anything. This is in regards to a CD I got in the mail from them for a $260 free chip - which doesn't have the T&C listed on their website or anywhere... It's been 2.5 days since I emailed them to get the T&C and no response yet....like it matters. It was gone in about 10 minutes anyways.

Plus, they have no live chat links at all on their website, but they have one in their promo offers that they email you?

This casino used to be one of the now defunct Crystal Palace Group. While many of them were rebranded Virtual....I don't know where this one ended up. I don't think it can be anything good, and I would avoid it. Also, a n/d chip of $260 sounds an awfully lot like something that either Virtual, or the old CP Group would hand out.

They're GPWA certified, that must mean something...

The old Crystal Palace one was just Cleopatras, not Cleopatras Palace, I believe it's a different one. Cleopatras Palace is owned by Onnea Trading in Cyprus, and uses Casino Afilliate Share for their afilliate program.

    Time will tell I suppose.

There is a growing body of evidence indicating that this casino -- presumably not a Virtual property -- may be a problem:

Cleopatra's Palace Casino $260 free? hmm

According to a post made by Max on page 3 of this thread, it looks like you are right re: them not being the SAME Cleopatra's. However, Robwin, thru some resourceful digging.....did pick up some sort of connection between them and Futura properties..which seemed to tie into Curgam/Malta....which is, or was, a big no go here.

    http://www.casinomeister.com/forums/...ino-com-3.html

Gonna go back and finish the thread...and refresh my memory. But there was talk in that thread about the $260 chip, and also talk of a rep here on the forum. Will be curious to see if he/she stuck around. I suspect not. Free money or no free money....stick to the tried and true, and reputable places. Why play with fire?

EDIT: Okay, finished the thread and they are NOT the same casino that was associated with Warren Cloud's group, so I was wrong about that. They might have wanted to do a tiny bit of research before choosing a name so closely associated with a known rogue. All that said, it does appear they are one of the "Futura" properties...of which other Futura properties, are tied to the Curgam group, which are a No Can Do here. Synopsis, I would never in a million years play here. Two different players won on the $260 free chip. The first one waited five weeks for payment, the second one waited seven weeks. There was total confusion regarding their documents being sent/received, and non response on the part of customer service. Further, the rep on the forum (Punter's Choice - affiliate manager), disappeared from the thread after his first few responses, never to return. And hasn't been on the forum at all since November 3, 2009. Enough red flags to stay far away, IMO.

    Cleopatras Palace Casino

I received the $260 CD in October 2009. Being an idiot I thought I would give it a go - after wagering all the playthru requirements I went to cashout $130 - max cashout with promotion. I have been waiting since November 2009 for the cashout and have several emails form Cleopatras Palace Casino saying that they are processing it - what a load of bull. Would not trust them with p*ss up in a brewery.

FWIW my issues with CP continue: PABs on the table but nobody there is responding. All I get is automated responses saying "You can expect to receive a response from us within one business day."

Needless to say their definition of "one business day" now extends to encompass several weeks without a reply.
