How long to certify docs at Lucky Nugget?

    Hi all,

    My 1st post!

I was on Lucky Nugget and actually won some money on High Streak Blackjack! I had deposited £1000 over 3 deposits then got a good run and ended up withdrawing £3,500. This was Wed 4th Feb. A couple of days later I got a message saying I'd need to supply copies of my driving license and a utility bill certified. After a couple of false starts I got them certified at the police station and sent through on Wed 11th. The casino accepted them and said they just have to confirm the certification.

Now 2 weeks later they are still in the process of confirming the certification - just how long should I expect this to take? I have contacted them numerous times and they say to allow 24 hours... My withdrawal is marked as 'Confiscated'

Since then I have played some more and won another £2258. I withdrew this Friday 21st and got this withdrawal confirmed as complete today.

I have contacted John the Bellerock rep but I just wondered if this wait was the norm or if I am being dangled along.

    Thanks, Steve.

This is NOT the norm at all!!!!

Certified by the police!!!!! WTF is this about! This is asking for trouble as normally the police will send you packing, as they do not do this. Hell, they even refused to help once when my Mum and I found a stray dog running loose in the road, saying as we rescued it, it was no longer a danger and they would not even so much as put us through to an agency who was able to deal with it, let alone tell us the address. I am thus astonished you managed to get them to certify your documents.

Now, you have a problem. Belle Rock will be attempting to contact the police to verify this certification, now this "ain't gonna happen" - the police do NOT do this, and Belle Rock will be told this, or more likely the police call centre will have no record of this certification, and THIS can lead Belle Rock to believe you faked it.

There should be no need to routinely certify documents on first presentation provided you can supply the standard set they like, which is a photo driving licence or passport, and utility bill showing the address you registered the account from.

If you sent them on the 11th, they should have been cleared by now, and the fact that you are continually being stalled with the "just another 24 hours" BS means the process has come to a grinding halt and will need a shove to get it moving again. The rep can provide this shove, but unfortunately is not available 24/7.

Since your account is NOT locked, they are not currently labelling you as a fraudster - if they believed anything was up, they would have locked the account straight away.

You could also try reminding support every 24 hours with a follow up email, just so they are not allowed to forget about you. Keep all the "just another 24 hours" replies, and then you can present the rep with evidence of continual misinformation from support, and the length of time beyond expectation you have waited.

    Well...

Well I've played at a few casinos (not like some of you I guess though) and I have won before and taken the money though the most I've been asked for is a copy of my driving license and the CC I used. I was a little surprised when asked for certified documents so rang and asked who could do this. First they said my doctor / dentist could so I made a dentist appointment and went and got them signed by him and sent to the casino. But these were no good as he hadn't used an official stamp when certifing the docs. So they said police station and I went there and got them signed - the woman did look a little surprised but I said they were for an online verification process so she was ok and stamped them etc.

Now 2 weeks later I am still waiting though my £2258 withdrawal has been processed, my £3500 is still marked as 'Confiscated'

I'll keep at them but I can see this dragging on forever...

tommo, first, don't deposit or play there any more until you get paid everything.

Do Notary Publics exist in the UK? That sort of sounds like the thing they're looking for. But then again, the whole need for you to do verification of these docs is highly unusual, and annoying. Usually sending in a license and a utility bill (or something) is good enough with most shops.

pitching a bitch may be in short order.

They've asked me for the docs when I withdrew $540 about 2 month ago.

I sent the copy of my driving license and the monthly water bills, then got certified about 7 days later by them.

SHEER INCOMPETENCE, utterly breathtaking, but there again, it's BelleRock all over. They have completely failed to give you proper instructions as to what they actually want. Of course the DENTIST isn't going to have an "official stamp", WTF were Belle Rock thinking. Advising the Police was little better, but they at least have official stamps (being an official body, unlike your Dentist). Normally police refuse such requests, too busy. You got lucky, but now Belle Rock are dragging their feet again. They have backed you into a corner - PAB now, and they can settle this with Max, who will be able to give you PROPER advice as to what they actually want.

They do. They can charge as little as £5 per document. They may be under "swearers of oaths" as well as "solicitors". A solicitor can do it, but will charge far more.
All they are doing is swearing (through an official stamp and signature) that the person bearing the documents is, in their opinion, the person to whom the documents relate. A "professional person", such as a doctor, can verify someone's photo in order to obtain an official document such as a passport, but they do not use a stamp, they just sign a small "oath" that the photo is a "true likeness". They also need to have known the person for 2 years. If your local COPPER fits this requirement, then perhaps you have had a misspent youth

"Notarised documents" are becoming a more common request, and despite the casinos trying to convince us otherwise, there is a growing number of complaints on the subject, often because the casinos make such a dog's breakfast of the request that the poor player hasn't a clue what they are supposed to do.

When I started, it was uncommon to be asked for documents at all if using an ewallet to deposit and withdraw funds, and even when documents were requested, it was a fairly simple process except with the rogue casinos, who first invented the "documents are unclear" stalling tactic.

It seems that casinos are trying to peddle the view that there are massive fraud rings in nearly every town of every country, and use this to justify some pretty extreme standards of documentation, often beyond the standards used by the STATE

Funnily enough, G W Bush thought the online casinos were RUN by "massive fraud rings" that syphoned money into various untraceable, and therefore illegal, pockets. Players are prepared to accept a casino on little more than trust. How about if players started asking for notarised copies of a photo ID of members of management before "processing their withdrawal" from their card/ewallet to the bowels of the casino slot machines.

    Hi,

if CM doesn't want to deal with it (for whatever reason) and you are interested in my help just give me a holler and I'll try.

I apologize if i stepped on anybody's toes as that is not my intention. I just was visiting another thread and this one caught my eye.

To the person owed the money: Belle Rock will pay you or that's how i bet every day ... but as was astutely pointed out it might take
Since your account is NOT locked, they are not currently labelling you as a fraudster - if they believed anything was up, they would have locked the account straight away.
    agreed.

a little more patience on your part might be needed for this to work out to your satisfaction.

    * I would strongly urge you to never use any kind of abusive language with support no matter how much they upset you.

** I agree with not depositing again (until paid) but since I feel confident Belle Rock will pay you I'd say its fine to continue playing especially if you still have some money sitting in the account that hasn't been ear-marked for withdrawal.

    Cheers.

What an easy way for Bellerock casinos to stall any big payments for weeks and even for months! First you ask for documents. Then ,after one week you ask for certified documents. Then it takes some time from a customer to certify those documents. And then Bellerock guys take an additional brake " in order to confirm the certification". Why people still playing at Bellerock casinos?
