    [Rogue] Grand Prive Stuff Up

Went into my Grand Prive account to pay in by Neteller only to find that it was no longer an option to fund my account. Spoke to support via email and they have told me on three different occasions that as i am from the US , neteller was not an option. After many emails too and fro they still state that when i first opened the account which is over 5 years ago that i put down that i reside in the US in the state of Alabama. Which is totally strange seeing that i live and always have in AUSTRALIA. But no....according to them i live in the US and they wont budge..Strange as i said to them, i have had many cash outs and they all went to Australia and they have my docs which all show Australia .But no as far as they are concerned i am from the US..What do i do ? I think maybe i close the account and play elswhere as i cant get any sense out of them...why deal with dick heads..

I totally agree with you there wayram. Closing your account with them would be the best thing you could do. I too closed my account with them last year for different reasons than yours, but then again when an operation the size of Grand Prive has been added to the "Rogue Pit" here at Casinomeister, then there was definitely a good reason for that.

There are a hell of a lot better casinos you can play at that will take a lot better care of you than what a lot of us received from Grand Prive!

While unrelated to the reason for being made rogue, this is incompetence at a stellar level. If they thought you were from Alabama, they would have locked your account simply because your documents don't match. Since you have been quite happily playing and cashing out, they must have suddenly "realised" you are from the US. Now, further attempts to cash out could lead you into SEVERE PROBLEMS. If they are still members of eCogra, put in a complaint, even though you may decide to close the account, don't let them off the hook - other players unaware of their status will benefit because they will have it on record with eCogra that they are THIS incompetent. They may even have given up on eCogra, perhaps because they have problems meeting the standards.

Grand Prive relied heavily on the US player base, and it seems that in their arrogance they assume that EVERYONE comes from the US, which is how they justify closing off affiliates, and stopping payments purely on the grounds that they are accepting no more US bets - their arrogant assumption being, of course, that these affiliates have ONLY brought them US players, and thus there is no issue with what they are doing.

If they think you are from the US, you should have progressive games disabled, if not, then this could be brought to the attention of MGS, as this is supposed to be a general rule applied for ALL MGS casinos, since it is MGS that is tasked with making payments, not the individual casinos.
MGS are most likely to ignore you, but if it blows up in their face later on, you can show evidence that they were indeed warned that incompetence at Grand Prive might have played a part.

They phoned me last night to try and get to the bottom of it all after i said i wont play anymore....they said when i first registerd with them i put my address as Alabama USA , she read out my address and all was correct except where it should have said Victoria Australia it said Alabama USA..As i pointed out this has to be a load of crap , there is no way known that this could have been mixed up but it certainly was..They asked for more up to date docs,to verify my address etc etc..I will wait and see what happens but i dont think i will play there anymore.

Why are you even contemplating playing there again?
Why play at a casino from the Rogue Pit when there are dozens of reputable MG's to play at?
    I don't get it.
