What Pantsdown refers to took place at the end of MAY, some 2 months BEFORE Rome casino was supposed to be operating, yet he reports being able to navigate to the website, a website which according to the Rome casino rep launched in August. These dates are from the other forum posts linked to, Pantsdown didn't make them up.
The administrator of that forum had a look, and thought the casino then used Total E-Soft and not "Top-Game".
As for accepting AMEX, very odd indeed, especially since they launched as US facing, and only in August, when UIGEA made it impossible to use ANY kind of mainstream credit card for deposits, with even virtual cards being widely blocked. Any statement regarding credit card deposits would have to be aimed at the non-US market, where such deposits would work with VISA, although probably not AMEX or Mastercard. I am in the UK, and I have ALWAYS had Mastercard deposit attempts declined by my card company, and here it is legal.
The question is, Rome Casino - was it up & running at the end of May and Early June, or was August the launch date.
It is possible that there is a similar casino, using Total E-Soft, that has become confused with this "Rome Casino". It could be a slight difference in domain name causing the confusion, which may be deliberate on the part of the "other Rome Casino".
The sleuths among us now have some looking around to do, are Total E-Soft up to something again? Who is the genuine article, and who is the fake "Rome casino".
There is also the "wayback machine", that may retain what was on a domain of "Rome casino" around this time in late May.
