LOL, this is actually one of my favourite slots.
Just give it a chance now and then, but don't go chasing a big win or it will eat your balance in no time.
The very first time I played this slot, only wagering 0,18 per spin, I won over �300 with the free spins.

I always set an amount for it, for example if it eats �25 off my balance I move on to another slot.
Enabeling the quick spin option is a good idea imo, otherwise it might get a bit boring sometimes.

I am finding most of the slots on microgaming pay a nice round figure when you get free spins.

I was playing thunderstruck yesterday, won a total of 30 freespins after getting a retrigger. And the only thing that paid during the entire 30 freespins was the 3 ram retrigger. Unbelievable bad luck, and very hard not to feel bitter about the whole experience.

That's the ting, I would put it down to bad luck, only every free spin feature I have been awarded on a microgaming 5 reel video slot has paid duck all for some time now. It really does seem as if microgaming have done something dodgy to their supposedly random games.

I am wondering if it is to do with strategies that rely on freespins to get ahead... perhaps this is their way of stopping anybody winning this way, by ensuring bonus rounds pay sod all or considerably less than what has been put into the machine. I am wondering if all the slots have been changed to high variance. As a result I won't bother with them anymore, I don't trust them.

Have microgaming slots become rigged shite?

I'm sure I've probably mentioned this on here before, but just treat 'free spins' as any other sort of bonus (I.e 'pick 'em or whatever).

Whilst it's exciting and pretty to see the reels spin round and good fun to see what plops in - I'm almost 100% certain that these bonuses are as pre-determined as any other. I.e - When the feature hits, the slot decides what you are going to win, then does the pretty stuff inbetween to make it all add up.

I've not got a problem with this at all; I love free spins! More importantly, it doesn't mean you've got less chance of hitting a nice big fat win or whatever, just sometimes you will and sometimes you wont... Like everything else slots-wise.

It's funny, because it makes me think exactly the opposite; if it was predetermined I don't think it very likely it would be designed to pay absolutely nothing.
The fact you can hit sweet F.A. during free-spins is one of the things which makes me think it really is random!

IMO I think all the games with free spins have gotten really tight. I used to love playing burning desire, you always got five 9's or 10's to keep you going & on the free spins you always got five of something more than once. Now it's practically impossible to get five of something at any time. Break tha bank again was 1 of my favorites but after losing hundreds & getting many free spins & winning nothing also not even getting 5 of anything up with or without the substitute, I have given up. So now I am looking for another favorite, any requests

I do like Sunset Showdown...there are two bonus rounds, and it seems like most times (not always) you will get 40x your bet or over on the girls, and usually do okay on the shoot out too... 20 - 30 x bet.
