<Snip> Oooops - missed a page of posts!
    {edit}
I think Simmo summed it up perfectly.
I admit I have thought once or twice about putting 'rogues' on my site with clear warning such as "if you're really daft enough to want to play at this place I'm happy to take the commission". But then I'm thinking it's not morally right to profit from players getting ripped-off - even if forewarned. And then there's the likely hassles with getting affy payments too, because I can't imagine these rogue places like parting with money to anyone!
At the end of the day there are 100's of reputable places to promote, and I don't personally need the potential grief of getting involved with cowboys.
    My 2c.

    Slots Royal

Welcome to the forum, and good luck!
That's great of you KK but this also reflects badly on the groups. If they dont want players to take bonuses from the same group, they should clearly list out the related casinos within the next sentence/paragraph in their TCs on their website. It shouldnt be too hard to figure out that players may not have a clue on that.

Ha ha. Reminds me of when I met the operator of Black Widow, and he told me I should put an affiliate link in the rogue section for his casino group. He said I'd be making bucket loads of money because of all the morons clicking though the rouge listing and joining up.

    (original article here)

So upon my return, I redirected all his URLs to point at Men who Look like Kenny Rogers

But back to the OP's question - sometimes it's tough on establishing who is who in cyberland. Many casinos are upfront with this and will list their other casinos. Best way to check is to click the "Affiliates Click Here" link and check out their affiliate program. In most cases, the affiliate program is being run by the casino and the other properties will be listed as well.

With the casinos who choose not to disclose this information, then some sleuthing is involved. You may need to do some searches in whois - reverse IP searches are good - check out Casino City (they list casino groups and companies as well). And Google is your friend.

Google the copyright info at the bottom. Google any specific info on their pages (toll-free numbers, company names, etc.). From there, the casino's brethren will begin to appear.

Or you can just come here and ask

But keep in mind that some casinos that aren't related share support phone numbers...
Operators: If you don't know what Transparency means, then here you go.....now how about practicing it?

Transparency, as used in the humanities and in a social context more generally, implies openness, communication, and accountability. It is a metaphorical extension of the meaning a "transparent" object is one that can be seen through. ...

True, but it serves as an indicator as to whom they're connected with.

The same thing for being on the same server. Many Furturebet sites are on the same server, but it doesn't mean they are owned by the same company. A number of things have to be taken into account. That's where one has to do some checking around
