Quote from Paypal's own Webpage http://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr...de&ed=gambling
Quote:
You may not use PayPal to send or receive payments for any form of gambling activities, including but not limited to payment for wagers, gambling debts or gambling winnings, whether conducted online, in person or through any other means of communication. Gambling includes placing, accepting, recording, or registering bets, or otherwise carrying on a game of chance for money, property, or other thing of value. This prohibition includes all gambling operations, even if and where such activities do not constitute unlawful conduct
By the way, Paypal will block your account, if you use it for gambling purposes, and say good bye to your money in there

You can use Paypal for gambling in the UK and in another dozen European countries.

That's what I thought- from the UK site:

He is the owner, and yes, Israeli.
There are several people in this industry stretching the bounderies but most live up to good moral standards.
However, he is playing in his own league. absolutely no principles ...
and I'm not refering to his paypal business (nothing really wrong here, up to him to manage the risk and up to the users if they are up for it)

Why do other websites promote these casinos?

Are there only the 100 or so casinos listed here that actually run properly?

Greed.
Unfortunately there are many webmasters who don't give a flying duck about the players - all they're interested in is how much money they can make...

No.
The accredited casinos have to meet certain criteria (see the CM Casinos page for details), but there are loads of other very reputable casinos who have not been accredited yet for various reasons (including CM's valuable time).
Different webmasters have different standards - personally I usually play at a casino myself (for real money) to make sure it's OK, before putting it on my site & recommending it to others.
