hello
recently I have been playing a feature slot called "The High Life" at 32Red over a few sessions in the last 6weeks the following results. Amount Wagered on this Slot: £16,900 Number of Spins on this slot : 20,000 or over Expected Average RTP according to 32RED = 95.7% Average RTP paid to me (according to 32RED) = 92.5% Average RTP paid to Me ( according to Me) = 86% I deposited various amounts up to a total of £1050 and only once did my credit balance rise above 25% of the initial deposit amount to make a withdrawal worthwhile. which i didnt. I last played it on Friday and in two sessions the RTP% was 44% and 77% over about 700 spins .......is this normal then for an online slot game ....after 20,000 spins to be well below the "average expected RTP" ( which i have worked out at 86%) 32Red agree its below the average and not normal but said the game is working ok and I was just unfortunate. ?? and offered 20 free chips to show that they care... £16000 wagered and the conclusion is 20 free chips was i just unlucky ? and is 20 free chips enough i havent dealt with 32Red for long but im getting a feeling of been ripped off really. any experienced players out there think should i complain and is there any point? |

Poor
It's poor, however this is a 5 line slot, and this makes the variance a little higher. Some slots are worse, it depends upon the occasional high win to get the payout back to the 95%. Slots such as Thunderstruck tend to rebalance from the occasional very big win, often over 1000x bet. In Thunderstruck, this would be getting wild hammers or 4 Thors in the free spins, which would pay nearly 1000x bet on it's own. 20,000 spins can go by without hitting one of these nice wins, and this can cause the payout to drop to the 90% level.
Betting lower helps even out the variance. During the Casino Action tournaments I spin Thunderstruck between 0.18 and 0.45 The big wins can yield around 225.00 from a bonus round with wild hammers, and corrects all the lag in payout. If the hit does not come, I find the payout can drop even lower than 90%, although the tournament prizes help.

Firstly, it's got nothing to do with 32Red...Microgaming is Microgaming....period.
Second, if it's any consolation, I had an absolutely brutal weekend as well. Several deposits and on only one of them did I get over my original amount. 400-500 spins with no bonus round was quite common this weekend. Avalon, Kathmandu, Thunderstruck, Spring Break, Bush Telegraph, Tally Ho, Life's A Beach...the list goes on. I hit NOTHING......and I mean nothing. The last couple weeks have been the worst I can remember for quite a while. But it goes in cycles like that. Maybe a month or so from now, I'll cashout once or twice. When you play slots, it's to be expected....especially if you are just continually playing one game.

![]() Anyway I agree with the concensus, medium/high variance slots give these long streaks and it's go with the flow. I've had many worse sessions than that one...though I prefer to forget! |

Thanks for the info that "High Life" slot has 95.7% payout. This fits perfectly in the picture with 95-96% for all the MG 5-reel slots.
If 32Red is right with 92.5% then this is actually not that bad a run. It is still below the expected 95.7%, however for high variance games there will be a very few winners and lot of losers, so the majority(90%+) of the players will be below the average. If you are right with 86% I would agree it is a very bad session over 20000 spins. But nothing to raise an eyebrow for. I have had VP sessions on JoB with 90% payout over 10000 hands (4-play). And as other players wrote, slots are designed to do this. Already now there is probably 99% chance that you are doomed forever on this slot. Playing same bet forever will never bring you even again. Personally I never play slots without a 50%+ cashable bonus or clearplay bonus. (unless I am reviewing new slots) Zoozie |

I think wild hammers pays around 500/1 in free spins and 4 wilds around 600/1?

Yep, if you're betting 90 cents a spin and hit four wilds on SB or Thor, it pays $200. So in the free spins, it would pay $600....just over 600X bet. I think I've gotten it twice....once on Spring Break and once on Thor. Both times was a whopping 18 cent bet though, lol. Still paid $120, I was happy.
