Hi XXX

Thank you for playing at African Palace Casino.

It has been noted that you have not taken part in promotions offered by
African Palace Casino and its affiliate casino's in the true spirit as
intended. From your pattern of play at African Palace Casino and other
affiliated casino's, it has been noticed that you only generate the sub
minimum wager required in order to be entitled to cash out after
receiving the bonus.

On at least one other affiliated casino, you again wagered the sub
minimum required in order to be allowed to cash out after receiving the
bonus and never returned to this casino to play further. When we plan our
promotions, the aim is to reward loyal and regular depositing players
with FREE bonuses. Unfortunately, your pattern of play across our
affiliated casinos has not shown this intention of becoming a loyal and
regular depositing player.

As a result, as per our terms and conditions, your initial deposit has
been returned to you and all bonuses and winnings have been declared
void.

You are most welcome to continue gaming at African Palace Casino. You
will however, not qualify to receive any future promotional bonuses.

Thank you for your cooperation and patience with this matter.

They stole $1600 fromk me

I have never played at their afflilate "indio casino" and I have played at 4 playtechs which are the clubdice sticky group and megasport casino which i have busted out of all 4. Please help, I am also going to pitch a bitch and hope the meister can help me out

Oh my god!

So the player meets the wagering requirements as set out by the casino and they steal their winnings........because they met them :eek2:

What a complete joke! I mean this bonus is even sticky so it's not as if the casino is even giving away free cash.

Watercreature - IIRC their affiliate manager or the like is on this forum and has helped players in the past so you should try him first. He should be under 'Casino Operators' which is written in blue towards the top of the forum.

I love the part when they say that you are welcome to continue gaming at African Palace. Don't you feel honored that they will still let you play after stealing your money like common criminals? I hope they pay one thousand fold in lost business after people read this thread. I hope you get your cash and run.

These guys were a problem when they were with Futurebet (remember that wrangle they had with FB over software with the players caught in the middle and neither side giving a damn until they had to?)

They've been relatively low profile since switching to Playtech software, but it looks as if they're starting their nonsense again, which may well indicate that they're running low on cash.

Bad history + new bad treatment of players = red flag.

If that affiliate DD suggests has no success I would take this straight to Iris Toledano through the Playtech dispute channel on their site - on past record the guys who own this operation and Indio are bum communicators.

Thanks for all the reply here is there reply
Hi XXXX

Thank you for your email.

Please understand that it is not our intention to with-hold your winnings. In the true sprit of gaming enjoyment we offer bonuses to enhance your gaming experience. We do, however, take special notice if these bonuses are abused, simply to meet the bare minimum in wagering requirements.

We assure you that all the money you have deposited, has been refunded and as such don't see this in a discriminatory light. From your pattern of play at our network of casinos, it has been noticed that you only generate the sub minimum wager required in order to be entitled to cash out. When we plan our promotions, the aim is to reward loyal and regular depositing players with FREE bonuses. Unfortunately, your pattern of play has not shown this intention of becoming a loyal and regular depositing player.

We believe that abuse of the bonus system is unfair behavior on the players part. We also feel that winners are our ambassadors and as such don't like to with-hold winnings, but in the name of fair gaming we can't be taken advantage of when offering bonuses. Please also note that our terms and conditions do clearly state that, 'In the event of any dispute regarding a wager or winnings, the decision of the casino shall be final and binding.

Based on the above explanation, I sincerely hope that you understand the reasons for us taking this stance.

Warm Regards,

I have yet to get a reply from the operator link, I have contacted my affliliate and they said they will try to contact African Palace Casino. I have yet to contact playtech, as I can not find it. Do they also take part in these forums?

Playtech were strongly advised when setting up this dispute channel that it should be quickly responsive and management supervised, so there may have been a technical glitch that will be quickly sorted out.

This latest response from African Palace is unacceptable - if the casino sets the T&C's and if the player fully complies with them he is entitled to full payout.

This has been said ad nauseum on every major fora, but some of these operators still just don't (or won't) get it. The "spirit" of the bonus has nothing to do with it - we're dealing with specific numbers and amounts promised in return for certain actions, and if the player is within the casino's clearly stated boundaries he gets paid. Period.

What happens after that is up to the casino. If they feel the player is taking advantage of them then they can exercise their right to exclude him from further promos or even close his account. Or they can tighten up their T&C, or impose special conditions in respect of that particular player. All of these remedies are within their control.

But they first pay what they owe in terms of their own T&C.

Any other way of handling this is wide open to abuse by the casinos, and we see that abuse by disreputable and dishonest outfits far too often.

Hello,

Got the exact same email as the others about a week and a half ago after winning $2147.

Before posting on here I emailed Mathew Peters to give him a chance to sort it out, but just got the exact same email as watercreature above telling me they were still stealing it.

What's even more disgracefull than what has happened to the other players is that I deposited and lost $600 the same day prior to getting the win. They have kept this $600 and confiscated my $1897 winnings making them $600 up on the day even though I won.

It really makes you feel like stopping online gambling altogether when this shit happens.

Have complained to playtech, lets hope they will do something.

Jetset is 100% spot on. Payout first, change T&C's or close account second.

If the casino operators can't see this they are either incredibly thick, or more likely they just don't want to understand.

The African Palace e-mail is just ridiculous.
It's like me saying to Jetset 'if you can jump over this 6 foot high bar I'll give you $10,000', but then refusing to pay out when he did it because he only cleared the bar by 1/16" !! :what:
Totally ludicrous!

I hope everyone who AP are trying to rob get their legitimate winnings.

Anyway, I had been thinking about trying out some Playtechs, but all these horror stories I keep seeing are really putting me off.
Does anyone out there know if there are ANY genuinely reputable Playtech casinos?
.

Thanks for everyone who tried to help, there has been zero progress and I have a feeling there is much more than 3 people who they sent this shaddy email to. The playtech player inquiry is up and running again, so i suggest everyone who has not got paid contact them asap.

reputable Playtech casinos?

Bet 365 and Acropolis have great service. Bet 365 pays me in an hour with moneybookers! I have read also that with neteller they pay instantly.
Tropez also is generally acceptable.
I have tried also many others for the last 8 months and got to know the hard-way their traps. There are groups that are better to be avoided for sure and others which you can get your winnings typically after 1 or 2 "usual" obstacles...

(One thing you should know if you want to play slots, is that the autoplay function is not supported yet to all playtech casinos. Also half of them support the "live" camera games and the rest do not)

The list of disqualifications seems to be growing, possibly indicating that these African Palace people have been hammering a lot of players.

I would suggest you spread the word for any other aggrieved gamblers to post here, too - it will be a useful indicator of what's going on with this operator, and something we can perhaps take up with Playtech.

BET365 are NOT reputable.
When they changed from Boss to Playtech they said new and EXISTING customers would get a 100% bonus.
So I deposited 100 and got the bonus. But about 3 days later, after I had done about 90% of the WR, they suddenly removed the bonus and sent me a standard vague BS letter letter with no explanation. I e-mailed a couple of times - but they never answered.
I let it go at the time because luckily I hadn't lost anything. I wonder if it's worth pursuing now through this Playtech mediator...?

Back to African Palace: On this board alone we have heard of 3 players being ripped off. So how many do you think are suffering the same thing world-wide? It's got to be 1000's!
They must not be allowed to get away with this swindling.

Typical

It's amazing how convenient it is for the casinos to bring such player abuse up when there is a significant win involved. I am quite sure if you were a player that continued to lose his winnings and deposits, that they would most likely continue pumping promotions at you and never say a word. Get a win and they investigate you in hopes to find some reason not to pay. I myself know that although there are certainly some reputable places to play online, it might be best not to deal with online casinos at all. First you have to be lucky enough to win, then you have to be lucky enough to get paid. Its almost like you have to win twice lol. Again, there are some good ones out there, but it seems like there are more and more that will find any reason in the world not to pay you. What a joke.

Hi there, my first post on the forum, but I saw this thread and thought I should note my problems alongside everyone else's. I am owed 5000 from African Palace, and have been since June. I have done everything by the book, wagered loads more than I had to in the first place, got really lucky (which was good as I was hugely down at other casinos so it just balanced my books up really). Then when I tried to cash out, I got stonewalled. Live help were no good at all, and everytime I phoned I was told the cashier was open at at a slightly different time to when I was calling (this changed on a daily basis, basically it seemed to be whenever I called I was 'just too late' to catch them). I informed live help that I was taking my issue to Playtech, and duly filled out the customer complaint form. Within a day I had an email from African saying that their banking system was down and they were going to pay by Neteller, so I gave them my neteller account details. Since then, I have had nothing back, live help won't help, cashier is closed every day etc etc. In desperation, I turned to this site for some help, and used the Meister's advice to get in contact with the First Grand affiliate rep, to whom I wrote a polite note to look into the situation. I received a form letter back from him, and have heard nothing since.

Next step is to use the 'pitch a bitch' on this site, but I wanted to do everything by the book first. Now i'm just adding my experience to this thread. If anyone has any other advice then I would be more than happy to hear it.

Cheers

TJ

yep

I have been looking out for problems arising from this group that owns indio casino and african palace since its "change" to playtech software. Many people on their old software at indio were left unpaid, some were paid part or all. They didn't even have the withdrawal option at their old software in the end.

Basically what i think they did:screwed some people over with their old software got some cash from doing it , then bought playtech software, put up some promos that were not good enough for the casino, lost the cash they had, and are now in financial trouble doing this advantage player trick.

try to stick to casinos bossmedia-wagerlogic-microgaming

I can not seem to get the Playtech link working for player's dispute, I get a "Unable to connect to SQL server" when I fill out the forms. Anyone here can help? I also pitch a bitch to the meister, hope he has a few words soon too.

I have sent several PABs to the Casino Rep here, and I have also sent these to Playtech as well. Mathew Peters got back with me yesterday saying he was looking into these. If you haven't yet PABd, you need to.

Delaying withdrawal

I requested a withdrawal in African Palace Casino on the 17th of July. The status is still waiting. I wrote lot of emails to the support related with this problem, but did not get any proper reply. I chatted a lot with the online chat support, but they did not do anything.
What can I do now? Any suggestion?

Watercreature - sent off on the 8th. Mathew Peters has it.

Word came back last night that jpmomo was paid. Others complaints are still being reviewed/acted upon. Mathew Peters should be able to give you updates during my absence (urlaub).

Still waiting for resolutions on the following:
Watercreature
Catwoman
tjhooker
pongpong
sookie

Most of these are for delayed payments.

And if you haven't listened to this week's webcast - you should.

Just returned from two weeks holliday and haven't received any reply from Playtech complaints procedure at all, or anything further from Martin Peters apart from that he was looking into it. This is despite complaining over 3 weeks ago.

They're trying to steal $1897 from me even though I met the terms of the offer. This is made even worse by the fact that earlier the same day I lost $600 that I'd deposited at African Palace but they are keeping that.

If this is the way both African Palace and Playtech are going to treat their players then why the hell should anyone play at any playtech casino at all?

Quick update, though there's not a huge amount to report. I have been sending Mathew PMs every couple of days and receiving very little in return; promises of follow-ups with management then nothing until I send another message. I get the impression that he's a genuine person doing what he can but it's not having a lot of effect. I understand that Bryan is back today, so hopefully he will see that not a lot has happened since he went away. I'm going back to Playtech today so will see what they can offer.

If anyone else has news, or has been paid, can they let me know. It will give me hope if nothing else.

Cheers

TJ

Just received an email from African Palace saying my 500 withdrawal request would be processed if I gave my bank account details. Apart from the fact that i'm owed 5000 not 500* (cheeky), whats the advice of giving my bank account details?

I'll be so glad if and when this is over. The maddest thing of all is that of all the Playtech casinos, this was one of the most interesting to play, if only due to the dealer shouting 'Blekjack' in a sexy South African accent! If it hadn't been for this hassle, they would have won all their money back and more. I think Playtech may have looked at their overall figures on me across their casinos and realised i'm by no means an advantage player. Still turning 200 into 5000 was no mean feat in the first place!!

So, as and when I get it, i'll be thanking Bryan for his help and the help of this site- get that Amazon wish-list updated mate :)

TJ

*(BTW- phoned them to tell them about their little slip and they've resent the email with the correct amount now)

Well I just received an email from them asking for my bank details so they could wire the money to me, so hopefully they'll be paying.

Thx for your help Bryan and Jetset etc, lets hope they pay up.

I still being ignored by african palace and matthew peters. Peters is responding to my afflilate i played through but won't reply to me directly. Here is Matthews last reponse on sept 2nd

Hi Bonusbud,

Thank you for your email and for expressing your concerns. Please know that we are working on all cases and certain players have already been paid. The management of the casinos have been contacting relevant players and have been informing them of the current status of their accounts.

I ask you to be patient and I want to let you know that those players that deserve to get paid will. Obviously this can only be concluded once we have done an investigation on each of the players. I will keep you informed on the outcome of the situation.

Regards,
Mathew

So any suggestions on what to do now? Any new news Bryan? have you heard back from playtech yet?

I replied to their email with my bank details on the 1st but still haven't received it so far.

Still crossing my fingers

I never got paid...

Not even according to African Palace's TERMS OF USE. They'll use any excuse. It's all bullshit. I sit here a VIP waiting since 6/21/05 for my payout. I hope they all pay for what they did! They are totally unresponsive. I can't even get them to pay under their own rules-T&C....

What a dump!

Do these people have an email or phone # so i can contact? Anyone else being totally ignore by Matthew Peters. And Bryan if you do not mind me asking, any news from playtech yet?

i'm still in contact with Mathew, though I get the impression that, like many online casinos, African is a virtual business in terms of physical setup- therefore he may not have any kind of direct contact with the casino manager over and above email.

Last I heard from him was yesterday and he said he would be back in touch with the casino. I cross my fingers in anticipation. In the meantime I have sent a reminder to the marketing director of Playtech, Iris- who I am reliably informed is in Israel, cc'd to African Casino email support (possibly terminating at a Playtech call centre in Antigua), and Mathew (possibly residing in South Africa).

For my part, I claim to be in the UK, I am in the UK, my bank account is in the UK, my neteller is registered in the UK, and I have a valid credit card from the UK. I have given all my details, my bank account details, credit card numbers, inside leg measurement and favourite marx brothers film. Since I claimed my winnings London has won an Olympic Games, England has won the cricket and I have grown a long beard*

And still I don't get paid.

TJ

Ps- beard bit may be a slight exageration, but there is time yet...
