I made the ASOP... again!

Amazingly, for someone who does not like poker much (too darn slow) especially Hold'em (I prefer Omaha Hi/Lo) and who has hardly played at all in the last 6 months... I managed to finish 2nd from a field of 65 tonight and qualify for the ASOP at LAC in London next week!

Afterwards I realised I have a 100% record in qualifying for this event; I have tried 5 times & made it 5 times:

London 2009 - Finished 5th overall.
Amsterdam 2009 - The event was cancelled literally 10 minutes before the start due to a problem with Dutch law...

Budapest 2009 - Qualified, but in the end I didn't get to go to the event.
London 2010 - Lasted 2 hours before bombing out.
London 2011 - Well... we'll find out next week!

Maybe I'm not as crap at poker as I think I am!

Hey, congrats. I know how difficult it is to make that kind of a record. I have played B&M poker tournaments since 1988. You should be very proud and shouting it from the rooftops. Keep us posted on how things go for you.
