[Rogue] JOYLAND casino malicious software problem

I have an account with Joyland Casino and played for a few days. Recently tried to log on but got this message "Search and Destroy has encountered and terminated a process that is listed as part of a malicious software" And consquently the site could no longer be accessed. I wrote to them. I had a reply asking me to uninstal it, delete all my cookies etc., and reinstall. Same thing happened. I wrote again. They sent back the same reply. I wrote again, and this time got a reply from Blackpool Casino (Obviously part of the same group) telling me to do the same thing. I wrote back twice yesterday - but so far have had no reply - despite the fact that they say that they are available for help 24/7 They have 500.00 of my money and I cant get onto the site - any suggestions from anyone?

By the way, you should familiarize yourself with the Rogue Pit. It's our casino blacklist and most folks here will pretty much assume that you've taken the time to look it over.

    Joyland

I have only just come across this site so I didnt know that Joyland was blacklisted. It was on a recommended list somewhere else, so thought it was OK. Is it part of Blackpool as well as they have replied to my emails - but no one is sorting out the problem of me not being to access the site anymore in order to withdraw the money that I have in my account.

9 times out of 10 when this happens with anti-spy/malware programs and casinos, it's a false positive. I know for the longest time Adaware was seeing MG casinos as spyware as well and wanted to delete the casinos. I ended up having to put them in the ignore list.

Try turning off the resident blocker in S&D and I bet you can log in...

and get your money out of joyland!!!

This problem is not specific for Joyland, since a few months the casino.exe files of Playtech casinos might get deleted by latest the anti-spyware softwares after install when you try to run them. You have to configure your spyware sw to ask you each time when a malicious sw is attempted to be run, and disable the delete of the .exe file in case of S&D, and let it run permanently.
    - Re-install the casino, if it asks you whether you want to restart download again, choose yes.
    - Configure S&D to ask for permission before delete
    - Start the casino sw, you will get a popup from S&D, and untick delete file, and choose let it run, or something like that.
If you don't do this, S&D will delete the casino.exe when you try to start the casino, and windows won't find the .exe.

Let me understand this correctly.... You have un-installed your anti-virus software and then reinstalled the casino software and you are still unable to start the casino software?

You also said that joyland was on another sites recommend list, do you happen to remember what site that was (you can PM me the info if you would be so kind)

There are numerous sites that will recommend rogue casinos. Playtech has also managed to gain considerable credibility by being listed on the London stock exchange, and being involved with William Hill. Having a "Blackpool" themed casino helps them ease their rogue ways into the unsuspecting UK market. Thankfully, we now know that Blackpool Club is simply another "Joyless casino", and is best avoided.
Perhaps Playtech might be encouraged to clean up the reputation it has of being the second most popular software choice for rogues (RTG being the most popular by far), as this is something that could cause them considerable embarrassment here in the UK, and could spoil any marketing efforts they might want to undertake after the recent corporate changes.
