I hadn't intended going, but I just won a 'raffle' by one of the affiliates to go with flights & hotel paid for!

Very very hard to resit, but wondering who else round here is going?
(i.e. meet up for a chat & a 'few' beers... )

I'll be there all week for EIG and CAP.

The problem is that where-ever I go, the beer is crap. I live in Bavaria, so I'm totally spoiled. I drink the crap beer just to pass the time and alleviate the boredom

I had a beer in Prague the week before last and I couldn't believe how much they charged!
It was about 90 Koruna a pint (About 3) - if you go out in the small towns & villages it's still under 1/pint.
(Pint = 1/2 litre approx).

I agree about it being the best beer in the world though - at least, the best I've ever tried!

Max price I've seen in Prague was 35 Korunas for 1/2 litre!!!

Well admittedly it was in a street side restaurant in the city centre, not far from Wenceslas square.
(i.e. right in the middle of the 'gullible tourists zone'... )

But even in the restaurants in Moravia (where my wife comes from) it's only 28-30 Kc.
