    Two types of Photographic Identification

I wont give the actual casino name as to not to confuse things, but the software was net entertainment.

I played a sign up free chip at this casino and lost, but I did manage to win two tourneys after and cashed out $291. I think the fact they need two types of photographic ID is insane. (I sent them my passport as ID)

From there last email it looks final and there is nothing else I can do.

I know some people will say you didn't deposit you have lost nothing but other people will deposit and not have two types of photo ID and run into this clause.
    .................................................. .............................................
    This was there first email>

    Dear xxxxx,

Due the fact that we comply with our payment policy, we would like to inform you about your withdrawal status; we are supervised by the Government of Curacao, in order words we need a second Photographic Identification, our compliance and security department give you the opportunity to send us another kind of Photographic Identification as :

    · A club/work badge

    · A School/University badge

As soon as you provide us with this exception document, as soon as the related department will contact you for further details.

    .................................................. ..............................................

I replied and got this email>

    Dear xxxxx,

As we have previously informed you, our security and compliance department does not allow payments without proper supports:

    1. Two unedited photographic ID’s, this can be a combination of (clear and visible):

    · ID and passport,

    · ID and driver license,

    · Passport and driver license.

We try also to be flexible and gave you the chance to send:

    · A work/club badge

    · A school/university badge

    · Another kind of identification

We are monitored by the government of Curacao (Netherlands Antilles). Thus we always maintain our policy of legality. Also our compliance department does not understand how a person cannot provide us with at least any other kind of Identification.

In order to process your withdrawal you will have to complete the above mentioned requirements.

However if you provide us with the necessary documentation, without any edits to the identifications and according to our payment policy, we will process your payment as soon as possible.

    .................................................. ...........................................

    This bit I found shocking>

Then they will want a photo of you holding your two IDs, after that a photo of you holding the photo of you holding your two IDs.

This is an IMPOSSIBLE request, and you SHOULD name and shame the casino concerned. One simply CANNOT have TWO passports, for example, unless they are indeed the very "fraudsters" the casinos are trying to avoid.

This is nothing more than a trick to make certain they have such a raft of excuses for non-payment that the MAJORITY of players will not be able to comply with.

The argument about it being a requirement sent down from Curaco is UTTER BULLSHIT, since many of us have played at casinos licensed by Curaco, and have NEVER come across this before.

Since when was a SCHOOL BADGE a form of "photo ID" (Do they take bets from children?), other than for a couple of years, it will NOT be "current ID". Work ID's vary enormously, many firms don't even bother (data is held and processed by computer), and only a few industries, such as security, routinely issue PHOTO badges to staff, which they ARE NOt SUPPOSED to send out to anyone in any case.

More than 50% of perfectly legitimate players would NOT have EVER been issued a "school badge" with a photo, and the ONLY way these players could get a photo ID is to COMMIT FRAUD, by buying membership of a bogus internet "university" who, for a fee, will gladly supply a "school badge" as well as a worthless degree, for a fee.

An ETHICAL operator is expected to offer an ID verification scheme whereby it is actually POSSIBLE for an honest player to comply. The ONLY thing that is available to ALL (or almost all) honest players is a PASSPORT from their country of residence, and this is not always easy to get, nor cheap, if such a request catches you by surprise.

This casino could just as easily pull this "stunt" to void winnings from depositing & winning players, but neglect to make the request to LOSING players.

At present, this has to be a warning against ALL casinos using this software, except for the MINORITY of players that have ready access to two forms of photo ID, AND are prepared to let BOTH be held by an offshore casino in Curaco.

    I agree this is outrageous!
I know which casino this is, (a brand new Net Ent place) and I have played there too.
I haven't withdrawn yet, but I am planning to.

But when I clicked on the link about account verification (Payment Policy) I swear it only asked for one form of ID - I just checked it again now, and it's been changed to TWO!
I would have definitely noticed this if it was there before, because like LOOKAWAY I only have one photographic ID - my passport. My driving license is the old style paper only one.
I sent a scan of my passport, the front & back of my credit card and a utility bill as requested and they never replied asking for more...
But I wont be withdrawing for a couple of weeks, so I might run into this problem then.

Does anyone know if Net Entertainment have a dispute service?

An id card, a passport, or a driving licence with a photograph should suffice. Any one of the three. Not all of them.

Definately sounds like they are stalling paying you and making you jump through as many hoops as they can to ensure your payment is continually delayed.

An ETHICAL operator is expected to offer an ID verification scheme whereby it is actually POSSIBLE for an honest player to comply. I know of some casinos which ask for the ID before you even play. This is good imo and ensures you do not hit a brick wall when it comes to cashing out, should you win at the casino.

    I'm thinking Name and Shame.

The nonsense about Curacao is exactly that. Nonsense. Flat-out lying - I'm sure of it.

And I don't think NetEnt would be happy to hear that one of their licensees is acting like this. I've played on a lot of NetEnt casinos - this is definitely not a NetEnt policy either.

I actually have a PAB in process, so I can't name and shame as it's against the rules. Even know I wish I could

It is a shame that I had to waste my one PAB like this, Net ent has a really clean Rep, the only trouble I know of from there casinos is from stryyke casino-so just one case.
