I think what it is, is that the casino is giving the player the benefit of the doubt. Sure the player has the same IP address as others, just like he has the same as others in the forum. And he uses his friend's computers as well - like he admitted. It's obviously a group of students (my guess) who share the same abode or visit one another. I'm just going by what I have here btw. The casino has not shared any information with me.

Supposing that a single player has created multiple accounts is not anchorless. We always try to find out more indications than the same ip and dont block user in general.

We are also aware of the problem with automated bonusses and talked to our software provider to find a solution in the near future.

Apologies for the hassle and the confusion over this. I have a learnt a valuable lesson!
Mudnav - you should convey your displeasure to your FRIEND. This friend has created this mess by having not just yourself, but a flatmate too, sign up through the same computer. IF the casino has indeed given you the benefit of the doubt, consider yourself VERY LUCKY INDEED!
What has happened here, it seems, is that this friend has used you and his flatmate to take two extra bites at the bonus. IF your friend has been playing online long enough to be able to advise you of the ropes, he didn't do a very good job.

More striking is this statement fro the rep "....and they used the same deposit method". This seems to indicate the friend was also bankrolling your play. This is, in effect, what casinos mean by "multiple account fraud", where an experienced player gets a novice to sign up & play under instruction for the new player bonus. This violates not just the original term about IP addresses etc, but also about players using their OWN FUNDS.

Having the software detect this potential situation before accepting a registration, deposit, and granting a bonus would nip this kind of incident in the bud. An innocent player would be asked to provide additional information before being able to play with a bonus, the multiple account hustler would hit the proverbial brick wall before they even got so far as depositing, let alone hustling the bonus.

In future, ALWAYS use your OWN PC and at YOUR OWN HOUSE when signing up at an online casino. Ensure also that other members of your household who play online have not previously, nor will, use the same casino. Use the currency that matches your country, even though another, such as the UK Pound, might offer a larger bonus - this is cause for many non-payment issues with casinos. Check the rules for any bonus, watching out for excluded games (if they say "does not count", assume this means "forbidden to be played" while meeting the requirements for a bonus).

Do NONE of the following with a bonus (whatever your friend says he got away with).

    1) Place a massive starting bet with your entire balance hoping for a big start, following this with a tedious grind with low bets.

    2) Do not play bets that are designed solely to minimise variance but that have no chance of being winners. Examples are hedging both sides of an even money roulette bet, or covering all, or nearly all, of the numbers. Betting player AND banker at Bacarrat is another common example.

    3) Give false registration details in order to get round parts of the terms & conditions that seem not to matter too much, such as not correctly declaring your location.

    4) Play excluded, or non-counting games UNLESS the casino tells you in writing that this is OK with a bonus on the account.

    5) Play at ANY casino listed in the Casinomeister ROGUE pit, and that goes with or WITHOUT a bonus.

    6) Don't come back here expecting sympathy if you repeat this mistake of using your friend's hardware.

Many thanks for this post. I am not sure casino play is for me- Its far too stressful. My mate got me into this- told me what to do. And i trusted him.
Glad its over anyway. They have offered me half my winnings back and am more than happy to take this as i just want to put the whole thing to rest.
