SpinWin, Finland excluded

I noticed this new(?) casino and chose to make a deposit because they're offering a nice 200% match bonus on first deposit. I checked their terms and conditions for it and it looked fair.

However I never received the bonus. I asked for it and got a reply next day saying:

"I am contacting you regarding the Welcome Bonus issue. The reason for which you didn't receive the bonus is because your country, Finland is not among the eligible countries. Your account does not meet the criteria set out in our promotion’s terms & conditions.

We apologize for the inconvenience caused and thank you for your understanding in this matter."


My understanding? I'd understand, but their terms and conditions didn't and still does not mention that some countries, or specifically players from Finland are bonus banned.

Can they do that? I'm thinking of making a paypal dispute or a chargeback.

Their casino is odd anyways. All games have a minimum bet of 1€/£/$ :O No love for lowrollers!

Finland is listed as ineligible for bonuses unfortunately.

The terms state they can do a CREDIT CHECK on you, so I would avoid them like the plague.

Look at the upside. ...... at least there's no WR!

Before taking such action as making a chargeback, why not ask the casino to refund your deposit.

Another little gem buried in the WR is that of you deposit by neteller or moneybookers the WR are doubled from 25times so a standard 50mes deposit and bonus and the bonus is removed on cashout. (In the Bonus TC's)

A further gem in the standard TC's- if tithey thinkyou deliberately disconnect from a game that can void your winnings also - A new one on me!

There are general TC, Bonus TCs, cashout TC's and one other set of TC's (even I glazed over at this point)

Sounds like a place to stay away from unless

you never use bonuses'
you are or have access to a lawyer
you have a perfect internect connection
you have no objection to them doing a credit check

Thats certainly rogue. NO-ONE has a perfect internet connection, and there is NO WAY for any party to determine whether disconnection was deliberate.

What about the CONSTANT complaints about MGS and RTG casinos in particular "deliberately" disconnecting players from the casino. The casinos say they NEVER do this, it's just something that afflicts the internet.

On top of this, we have 25 countries excluded from bonuses, and on top of this, an already draconian WR for what is a PHANTOM bonus is doubled to a virtually IMPOSSIBLE WR for eWallet users.

NO OPERATOR has EVER explained to players just what is "wrong with Neteller", and "so absolutely right" with CREDIT CARDS of all things.

Credit Cards charge merchants a fortune, AND are a high risk because players can easily issue chargebacks. On top of this, we have the problem of stolen cards being used, and the BANKS recovering money. Casinos can also TAKE BACK withdrawals they have paid back to Neteller (Betfair, Prime, etc....) - not so easy when they have paid by some other means.

SpinWin are probably relying on the fact that so many players fail to read the terms before playing, so they will NOT be deterred by these terms, they will find out when it is TOO LATE.

Players from these 25 countries, and who use eWallets, should be grateful they are not really allowed to play here.

I would actually take you up on that bet (LOL)- that at least they DON'T do-The OP that iniated ths thread wasn't given't the bonus because he was from an excluded bonus country. They do get that right.

USA Turkey and Israel are the only banned from playing outright countries and for those who are still happy to try (presumably from a no bonus country or not using netller or moneybookers) the non bonus countries are not listed in the general TC but the Bonus T and C. Suggest you also read the separate cashout T and C's

FYI this casino is a Cassava white label. That should be enough to stay away, especially if you have ever played at another Cassava outfit.
