I wouldn't call it false advertising, does sound like a snafu though. Here's what I'm seeing (see below). The 'More Information' link doesn't take you anywhere useful, nothing said about CWC500 at the http://promotions.clubworldcasinos.c...eklyPromotions page.

I'll flag the rep, see if they can clarify this for us.

The support rep is LYING. The code IS VALID, but only for certain players. The CS should be honest and say so, rather than pretend the code does not exist with arguments that simply cannot be reconciled with what is displayed.

"status" means whether you are ahead or not. My status went from VIP to "scumbag" in the blink of an eye. The ONLY thing that happend is that I won BIGTIME on the Reel Series slots from an UNBONUSED deposit, withdrew, and when I had received the installments, I had become "scumbag", only eligible for the 35% slots bonus.

The casino can deny as much as it likes it is down to me winning that I am barred from the promos, but this is the THIRD time, and EACH was after a big win. It seems after a while, they try to entice some barred players back again, which is how I had this three times.

If CS had been honest in this case, this would have never made it to the forum, except perhaps as a "bitch & moan" about being barred simply for winning.

CWC500 was a regular promotion that I used to play before getting barred, and would arrive by email from "Lauren" when running, which was usually over the weekend. Sometimes, it came with an EXTRA $500 if players were able to complete the WR on CWC500 from the $150 deposit and $500 bonus - quite a challenge! It was a slots only coupon.

In this case, it may just not be running THIS weekend, so the coupon would not be on the system at all because the promotions department had not added it, thus the error message.

Showing these on the website has been defended by the casino as necessary so that players can check the terms and conditions if they are invited. Clearly, this has gone wrong, as there is no information available the coupon appears as though it can be taken at any time, and has no rules.

This is not the first time Club World has run into problems with the way they advertise their promotions, but they had to be dragged kicking and screaming just to place a disclaimer on the main page that codes are "invite only", and are presented to players via email and the casino lobby.

All it seems to be doing is alienating players who think that a code is valid, and for no logical reason they are not allowed to use it, and CS try to convince them the code simply does not exist, rather than tell them it is because they are barred by "management decision". CW probably wants these barred players to have a few goes with the 35% coupon to win back some of the money they have paid out, but this won't happen whilst such players are not only barred, but treated by CS as though they comitted a CRIME by winning.

This IS false advertising and something I would like to see stamped out at ALL casinos.
