Looks like a snafu at Interwetten. Only their pokerroom is eCOGRA certified (since April) - not the casino. Interwetten has the logo on their main site, but it should only be displayed on the poker room (Ongaming).

I've been in contact with the complaints department at LGA. The representative detailed the processes that are undertaken when investigating complaints, and it's time consuming.

The complaints that lodged against Interwetten are still being investigated, but they (the LGA) can only deal with the complaining parties directly. They cannot disclose any information to third parties (like me). But they did state that two of the complaints that I passed on to them were never lodged at the LGA.

To eliminate any confusion or "falling through cracks":

The correct email to contact is complaints@lga.org.mt. If you have a complaint to submit - please use this address. If you have already submitted a complaint, please email them and request a follow up. Thanks!

Thanks for the follow-up with the LGA, I think it has stirred some reaction

This afternoon I received a personal e-mail from them confirming that they were still progressing my complaint.

This is at least a positive step as it does now confirm to me that my complaint has been logged!

It also included a phone number which I may well call next week to see if I can have a discussion with them over their current thoughts about my case.

Ditto what Ferret said, I have now also received a response saying that my complaint is being investigated. Hopefully we'll be kept a little more up to date and the LGA will prove they are a worthy regulatory body through this investigation.

I got the confirmation email from them back in end of May or the start of June and I haven't heard anything since.
Isn't this getting ridiculous now? The standard amount of time for in depth investigations of this kind is 12 weeks and it has been many months since the problem!?

sadly i suspect that nothing is going to happen and that the LGA is totally toothless .. or could not be arsed

the delay is absolutely ridiculous imho

The LGA cannot be arsed. They have shown they are unwilling to do anything, even to the extent of saying to the players, "we find for the casino, go away". Frankly, a casino that is regulated by the LGA is not regulated in actuality.

    Another bump.

this has been outstanding for SIX months now.

It is quite clear that the LGA are a sham organisation and have no interest in policing the licences that they grant.

All casino players now need to be aware of this and that they have ZERO PROTECTION when playing at Casino's who are registered in Malta.

I should add that the LGA are not responding to any of my communications either.

They know Interwetten have not got a leg to stand on, but are not prepared to rule against one of their members, hence they are just burying their heads in the sand until we all go away.
