Player signed up to Fatbet casino via an affiliate and was given a bonus offer wherein they would wager 30 000 chips whereupon they would receive a 1000 chip non-withdrawable bonus. Casino Support confirmed the bonus code and told the player they were cleared to start wagering.
Once the player had met all requirements they claimed the bonus. The casino denied it claiming it is no longer available, expired, and quoted the T&Cs:
The player went back to the affiliate and received this reply:As per our Terms of Use, Clause 3:
'We reserve the right to cancel, reclaim or refuse this Promotion at its own discretion.'
When we contacted the casino they said:They said that the offer cost them a lot of money and therefore they pulled the promotion.
Our position is that this is bull-pucky: the casino is responsible for their affiliates. If the affiliate is acting improperly then the buck stops with the casino. We are aware of this case and of the player's unfortunate situation but this is not a matter that should be resolved by FatBetCasino, but instead by the affiliate who offered this bonus. ... We would suggest the player to get in touch with his affiliate and try to come to a resolution with him. We realize this is unfair to the player but in this case I'm afraid both the player and Fatbet are victims to the irresponsabilty of one affiliate.
Warning: FatBet Casino is not honouring affiliate-offered bonuses, claims affiliates are responsible for settling disputes. This puts players at great risk. Until such time as FatBet sees fit to honour bonuses offered in their name we feel that the casino must be considered "Not Recommended".
