It's a 10 second job to delete an email address from their database, and this should ALWAYS happen when a player asks to be excluded because of a gambling problem.

This is NOT an affiliate, this HAS come from the casino, because the player's USER NAME has been quoted, and ONLY the casino would know this. Affiliate spam can ONLY contain information which is "in the public domain", which at worst would be the name of the player, but NEVER something that only the CASINO can possibly know, such as an account number.

It's clear that despite requests to do so, NO-ONE has bothered to remove this player's details from the marketing list.

If anything, thoroughly abusing a bonus is a BETTER way of ensuring you never get another offer from a casino than asking for an exclusion because of problem gambling.

    Thumbs up

    Thanks VWM, that's so true

I only expect this from rogue casinos, but not from casinos, which are on the accreddited list here and JPC is actually a honest casino, so why is it so hard, to let me go on my own way without them? *lol*

    Stop Everything....!

Bodog does this and especially the Jackpot Capital group, which i've told some months ago (it was even last year) really very bad words in my last email, before i've closed my account.

But today i sent them an email, that they should reopen my account and after only 2 hours i got an email "per your request we've reactiveted your account" although i've told them, that i'll never play there and they should never reopen it, no matter if i askt hem again or not!

So how can these casinos be on the accredited list, when they didn't take my gambling problem serious!?

It's really very sad, because i've lost now nearly about 50 deposits in a row and made always again a deposit after losing, because i must get the money back, because i have to less money for this month to eat, because of my god damned gambling problem

I've play my last euro in this casino only to hope, to get at least some money back, but now i have nearly nothing and the month had only just begun!

thanks for taking my big problem so serious!

since i've no more money for this month, i even don't know how i can drive to my work, because i must buy petrol for my car, otherwise i couldn't go to my work and tehn i'll got lost my job!

i never eanted to speak with another people about my problem and surely not with foreign peoples in a forum, but i think that's now the only way and maybe anyone can understand my frustration at least a little bit?

actually i have now the feeling, that my live have no more much sin and the best thing were, if i can only die, because i have no solution for this god damned addiction!
I am sorry to hear that really and i think in this situation there 80 % of gamblers around the globe but they hide cause they think its " ENTERTAINMENT " and it will exist this for many years more....
I was one year before like you......( BAD FEELINGS AND BAD LIFE )
I was near to destroy my work, my relation with my family, and relation with my girlfriend...( you are not alone )
    My suggestion is:
Dont wait from casino to help you by closing accounts etc.. cause they are on the market and they need to work and to atract more is possible ( i am very sorry for the new victims, cause the OLD one do understand this process )
Stop all the ways of depositing....Close ONLINE bank accounts ( moneybookers etc )
Install software that cant allow any kind of gambling while you surf.....
    think positive....
Borrow some money just to put your economic situation under control again and dont visit gambling sources for a long time.....
Maybe you are OLD enough for all this advices but i feel it and i write it this cause i remind everyday my sitution and i blame everyday my self why i do that...( now i am -10.000 $ and i must pay for long year....
    This is ONLINE entertainment ...

    GOOD LUCK

I think if eu_lowroller REALLY wants to stop gambling they need to take EVERY possible step themselves and NOT be concerned about whether one or two casino emails get through accidentally. What I mean is that it sometimes takes three months to erase a customer from every marketing database. Some casinos outsource their marketing campaigns are created well ahead of time so there is sometimes no way for the casino to stop ALL emails until all the current promos are finished.

While its a little annoying to still get the occasional email, it isn't predatory behaviour. Receiving an email every day might be...but not the odd one or two.

If getting these emails is REALLY making difficult/impossible to quit gambling, then take action YOURSELF and change your email address. You can send a final email to your contact list and then delete it. Yes, it's a pain the ass but it is NOTHING compared to going back on the punt and losing everything surely?

Accredited casinos are required to act on all exclusion requests and from what I've seen they do. It doesn't mean that a few emails might not slip through the cracks. As long as the casino responds and corrects the error then I don't see why members should be ripping on them for doing what all of us are prone to - making a mistake.

If anyone had evidence of DELIBERATE enticement of an excluded person by an accredited casino then its a completely different matter. I'm yet to see any.

    Exclamation

just for info, since my first posting (7,5 months ago!) i've never played again, so it's all cool
maybe you must make sometimes very big mistakes, to wake up, but now i better safe my money and go out with friends and have some party, at least once a month or so, that's always much better, then losing all my money on these casinos
