Crazy Poker Renege On Old RB Deal

I've posted this on twoplustwo.com while this is a complaint i'm posting more so that other players will stay clear and avoid this shady S. American company and their practices...

    Hi,

I'll keep it as short and sweet as possible.

Signed up to Crazy Poker 5 years ago under a 45% deal.

Recently felt like a network change and started playing again

I play for a month and rake big and consistently and come the end I question where my RB is - the manager speaks with me directly and informs me RB ceased
so I ask is he reneging on my RB deal at which point he starts to question the integrity of my claims - suggestive that i'm making up porky pies (lies)

The affiliate I signed up with was something along the lines of FishEyePoker, it was a long time ago and as RB on Microgaming is no longer advertised I can't locate the affiliate but surely that info would be on their admin screens...

I had played before and I was paid out 45% RB on previous play.

    - Back to discussion with manager - he tells me I qualify for 30% RB which they just restarted recently but recent changes include more deductions on player RB such as banking fees.

I made a lot of deposits and withdrawals because frankly I've no confidence keeping any sort of a roll on any microgaming site - I don't care who the skin belongs to, I deposited and withdrew as I played.

    1. I never received notification of RB ceasing/changes being made

    2. My integrity was brought into question by the poker manager, he was very unprofessional.

    3. Perhaps in a few months time when things are even tighter for these companies employee tea/coffee and toilet accessories will also become deductible from players RB?

    Cliffs -

If you had a previous agreement with Crazy Poker and one day decide to go back and play on microgaming - don't, unlike the industry standard of carrying over RB deals from legitimate times to when it's not allowed, Crazy Poker are swines and do not honour such deals, they renege on them.

So there you are - Yes I'm idiot for going back go Microgaming but there you have it.

Player beware and all that....thought I would give you guys a heads up.

The manager even went as far as to give me his email asking to contact him, i thought privately he might honour the deal but instead he chose to ignore all my emails despite warnings that this would be the outcome - posts on major casino/poker forums.

Email i was told to contact was thabang.m@starpartner.eu I hope he's reading this and realising that this pathetic attempt to save on paying out RB will cost alot more in the long run than what I was owed, due to a negative image of the company it creates, it clearly illustrates their dishonesty.

This rule is set up by Mictogaming. All skin poker rooms and their players have to follow it. I've got notice from a few poker rooms.

30% RB is still a good deal in the industry.

I was not made aware that "banking fees" would be drawn down on my rakeback, that's not a good deal and is false advertising.

30% rake back is not 30% - deposit and withdrawal charges.

It's clearly not a good deal and I would have settled for 30 but they wouldn't even pay that stating that they were deducting "fees"

Updated your thread title, looked to much like one of our "official" Casinomeister Warnings. No offense intended, none taken I hope.

OP sounds like a bonus bagger imo.
His statement is unclear in parts.
Also seems more complex than the typical "casino stole my money" story.

It would depend on the terms when you signed up. Was this a deal "for life", or just until they "reserved their right" to change the terms.

If you were given this on a "for life" basis, then this IS a "screwing over" through retrospective changes of terms for an offer already given and accepted. The original terms would have to provide NO option for them to discontinue the deal at a future date, which seems unlikely. Most casino/poker terms have "get out clauses" that would cover them for doing things like this.

Affiliates have been screwed over on what they THOUGHT were "for life of player account" commission deals, although doing this earned one group a trip to the rogue pit

The 30% is the official. You can get up to 60% at some skins if signing up trough the "right" affiliate. Same goes for iPoker, Ongame and Entraction.

I fail to see why you post such a remark based on little or no substance, the only reason I can think of is that you are a shill or then perhaps you're just a pure bred troll. Either way I would appreciate if you would refrain from posting defamatory remarks on this thread.

If you have something useful to post or something valid to argue about my post than I welcome your comments.

    Weatherman -

I signed up via an affiliate who i'm almost sure was at the domain www.fisheyepoker.com the 45% deal was supposed to be for life, that's how it was advertised however as you say, the fine print may have contradicted this.

Unfortunately i cannot find any trace of the affiliate or the t&cs but I'm positive that the information would be available via their admin screens or through the affiliate manager.

I guess next step is to locate the affiliate and hopefully I can retrieve that info.

    Thanks!

It seems you signed up through the "right" affiliate for your 45%, yet this didn't stop them reneging on the deal and dropping you down to the "standard" 30%.

It seems it does not matter what deal the "right affiliate" can offer, you can still get screwed by the skin deciding to renege, and place you on the standard 30% less fees deal.

So, what's the point of searching out that "special affiliate" to get the "special deal". There is no guarantee it will be honoured, and by the time you find out, the "special affiliate" has vanished, and no record of what was promised seems to exist.

Maybe the AFFILIATE screwed you over, not the poker skin. They may have been less than truthful about the deal, and perhaps it was NEVER "for life" as advertised, but for a fixed period. It may also ONLY have been valid whilst the affiliate remained "active" in recruiting further players.
