    Help Bodog is after me

i CALLED THEM AND THEY WON'T GIVE ME A PHYSICAL ADDRESS

    Dear SINGLE BILL (Account: 869640-$3730.00),

We do not report to the credit bureaus, that is done by the 3rd party collections agency. Understandably, they would collect on the full amount and would not be able to offer you any relief on the debt. We can offer you a settlement if you wish to resolve with us. Retain legal counsel if you wish.

As we are based in Antigua, you could be charged with credit card fraud in . As you will most likely not attend the court hearings in , a default judgment would be granted. After being found guilty of credit card fraud there that judgment could be forwarded to the US Federal Court wherein you could be charged with criminal charges. Specifically, on a federal level, you would be charged with credit card fraud, which could then be moved to the state level, where it is termed ‘Theft by Deception’.

Please contact my office to avoid 3rd party assignment and reporting at 1-866-887-8422.

I believe you guys have made a mistakes. I haven't used my poker account for quite some time now, therefore, how did I come to have this enormous outstanding balance? I will write a letter to both Equifax and TransUnion to investigate this claim and if that doesn't work I'll proceed to getting a lawyer. This is Ridiculous.

This email serves as your final notice to confirm your bodog account
currently has an outstanding balance in the amount of ($3,730.00),
and has now been referred to the Internal Collections Department
for the purpose of credit reporting to both Equifax and TransUnion.
Your balance will need to be immediately resolved to avoid having
your file referred to a 3rd party collections agency.

Your methods of repurcashing the balance are listed below:

    Credit Card
    eWalletXpress
    Rapid Transfer

Thank you in advance for your prompt attention to the outstanding
    balance on your account.

    Sincerely,

Isn't there a Bodog rep here? I'd contact her and see if she can help.

Unless your funding option bounced payments, I can't see how this could have happened in reality. They don't extend credit, do they?

Maybe Max could help? PAB maybe?

I'd just pay 'em if I was you. When pigs fly! Is it possible you went over your limit and Bodog wasn't debiting your account in real time so that your cc company could have told 'em "no dice" after you deposited/played, whatever?

I think the guys at Bodog most definitely have better weed than I do here..

Also good luck to you good ole boys at Bodog in enforcing this one and especially your statement that is highlighted in red above considering the fact that the U.S. policies preventing credit card companies and banks from honoring Antigua online gaming transactions has been in place for awhile now as Antigua and the WTO are very well aware of!

So my next question is: Should an accredited casino here be allowed to make these veiled and asinine threats?

Before jumping to the conclusion that it's "veiled and asinine", please be aware that most everyone here knows only a part of the story. Let's be fair and give the casino and player a chance to come to terms. Apparently the casino rep thought that this was squared away.

You're right, I do agree with you on the "veiled" part but even you Bryan have to admit that that threat that I highlighted in Red is truly "asinine", and as such should not be used to threaten someone with that lives in the USA for gawd sake.

Use something else if they so choose but definitely not that one...
