I sure don't mean to belittle anyone here at Casinomeister, but..........sigh

1. This isn't junior high school, it's the best gambling Forum on the net, no doubt about that.

2. You can bet that part of the goings on in the private clubs will be stuff that they want no one else to see or hear. It doesn't take rocket science to realize that.

3. I sure wouldn't want to be known as a part of a "club", cookie cutter personalities might make up part of the membership.

4. I was asked and then turned down quite a ways back. LJ PM'd and asked me, then apparently the rest of the club did not want me.

I laughed and laughed and laughed, I was so relieved to be unacceptable and not have to turn them down!!

Clj7221, being part of a group is not always the best thing. Being yourself and being self contained is much better.

I would say that you were lucky to be refused!

I am a member of the club, Clj, that turned you down and I am also a member of 2 other ones here. Want to know what I posted about today? Going to see my grandson play little league football. Would that interest anyone in the open forum. I don't think so. Rarely is there ever a conversation about gambling unless is moaning about losing or talking about a good win. We talk about our families and other personal stuff that really wouldn't be of interest to anyone but the members.

I am sorry that you took offense to not getting in. I truly am. But I think you read a whole lot more into what this social group is than what it really is.

And yes, I think this thread needs to be put to bed.

Apparently, no good turn goes unpunished. You even turn on your own group when the light of day is shined on you. The more excuses and made up stuff propegated about joining this group, the more it makes it looks like you are trying to defend what is essentially, indefensible, by trying to turn portions of this site into a secret society that can't even keep a lid on what happened or it's little secrets, lol.

I am done posting in here, if anyone doesn't get my point now, just keep posting made up stuff and dig yourself in deeper. One more point, I only brought up money to show we are avid gamblers as a hobby and would think to be welcomed in any legimate group in this forum as this is the premier gambling web portal on the internet and love everything Bryan and most members do to make gambling fun and legitimate for all of us.

Well,

I had to post now as my name was brought up. Cindy is correct as I was asked by clj whether she could join the club. We voted no and I relayed the message back to her.

Frankly, I dont know why there is such a big fuss over this issue. While I am happy that there are some respected members who would like to join our club I do believe we have a right to decide which members to include and whether the time is opportune. The voting procedure is not the best in the world but is fair imo. Being rejected for anything is difficult to swallow and I have had more than my share of being rejected for various things. We all have and I think we should now move on to other things. I try to have a cordial relationship with all members but I do believe this is taking things a bit too far.

I really can't understand why some of you insist this is about me not being accepted into the group. I stated in my post that was not what this is about but if it makes you feel good to continue this story, when I have already stated it is not the reason, then have fun. There is nothing in the post I lied about or misconstrued.

If you feel my husband stated something incorrectly, take it up with him.

Chu Chu, out of respect for you and your privacy, I nor my husband brought your name in to this.Your own group member did.

I stated being accepted to the group or not, wasn't the issue. I wrote what the issue was.
I understand my husband's post can be confusing for some to understand, but my post is clear, to the point, in plain understandable English.

I think it was taking it way to far the method used for joining this group. Casinomeister wrote in one of his posts how members have complained about "Cliques" in here. This is even worse, A group with this kind of method used to join, creates friction among other members. I Know, I have gotten the e-mails and the very first one, was the day of the " Vote"
Everyone in here who acted in a better then thou post, of "get over it move on"how childish this is", is in that group lol

I say it as I see it. I don't come in here looking for attention , popularity , best friends,Thank you's,try to impress anyone or make this forum my family. I have my own family. I was just in here one day, saw a group that looked interesting and thought I would check it out. I wish I would have known the B.S that went with trying to join.

Now I did not start this thread and as soon as I saw it this morning I mailed casinomeister to remove it. I have said all I need to, yet some people here just love the drama of this and continue this post.

I am finished with this soap opera but it seems some still want to have a part in it. Take it up with my husband who started this. I am done with this post.

Off topic here but ...
but I think there should be a limit on how many 'Thanks' can be given in a day . Maybe then they would mean alot more than they seem to now .Lately they are given by the same people thanking each other over and over for every single post they make . This isn't the way it was when I joined and I don't know why and when it changed but it is silly .

You have a point there silky. We ought to think of a method to overcome this. Thanks but not using the button though.

Silk, I thank a lot of people. I thank them for making thoughtful posts, funny posts and informative posts. I think perhaps an "I agree" button might be useful.

Oy vey! What a piggy mess!

I'm closing this down due to advance topic decrepitude. I'm also moving it elsewhere because it sure doesn't belong here.

You know where to reach Bryan or I if you have objections to this.
