The method in which you invited CLJ, asking probing questions of a personal nature, then having another member turn her down to the group was as childish as a Sorority/ Fraternity initiation.

CLJ even got the Meister involved to re-think if private groups should continue to be allowed, if this childish behavior to get in your "click" continues, so kudos for stirring the forum up; especially in light of the very pertinent fact that my wife and I are avid on-line gamblers for nine years and know the ins and outs of the casinos. I wouldn't let her join your group if you paid us now.

I just wanted the truth out that some in here speak out of both sides of their mouths and I feel most, like us, do not operate in that sort of lowbrow manner.

    Good day madame!

P.S. A heartfelt Thank You for all that understood my point as I don't regularly post in here, just gamble for fun with our money; it is easier to side with groupies than to stand alone and expose what is going on with Private groups. We are such private people, none of you probably knew CLJ and I are married until now.

In my opinion, their should be criteria/ rules in the future on how a person is accepted or rejected by any given group or open them up to all members in good standing (Private Groups).
    Dear Rambler,

It was your wife who asked another member to join the club, when we looked at her profile page at the time all it said was private, i asked her likes and dislikes and hobbies, it wasnt like i was asking for her life history and info, look we dont hurt anyone, most of us are everyday regular posters on the forum.I even commented to your wife how i enjoyed her posts.

I take offense to some of the coments you made off hand about me as untruths, i try to treat everyone with respect at all times and i have never dis respected you nor your wife. If it made you feel better to say those things, well thats fine, it didnt bother me at all as sometimes we say things when we are upset and thats the way im treating this un needed thread..........laurie

First of all, It is amazing how I see the Thank You's on here. I was just reading a post from Casinomiester explaining that Thank you's are certainly not to use when ganging up on someone....

A few weeks ago I asked to Join your group LaurieJim. All you had to do was to mail me back and say sorry, we are not excepting anyone new now.Instead you mail me, asking me to tell you about myself and said your group will take a vote to see if I am accepted to the group. So, I mailed you back and told you a little about myself. You mailed me back that you need more information about me and what I gave you was not enough and your group members needed more information for the vote. So I took a chance seeing how everyone seems to think you are a nice person in here, and gave you more information about me. Then a day later you have another member mail me back that basically I was not accepted.

This was hurtful to me and mean spirited in my opinion. If I was not accepted so let it be who cares, but the way you did this was cold and mean spirited. I have seen your posts and you would not have liked to be treated this way either. So excuse my husband for his post. But when he saw how this hurt me, it hurt him to.
1st off you asked ChuChu to join the group not LJ second LJ did ask you about your Hobbies an your dislikes we took a vote we didnt want any more members so ChuChu sent you the email saying sorry not at this time
what was so personal that you was asked?
also she had the member that you asked to join the group reply that no was not a good time if you are going to post please post facts

    Thanks Cindy

clj...remember this (you can't lose something you never had) and it probably wasn't worth having in the first place
    I agree.

I also remember that another member (and many just "loved" her), that was banned who belonged to this group. Nothing against groups, cliques, or private parties...it's just that if you feel you must have a group vote for anyone to join, you might want to rethink that since some of the members of any so called group just might not be who they claim to be as the one that got banned from THIS site fooled many and I believe left egg on their faces.

I belong to one group and I think it was Rob who invited me (thanks!)...I would be a lousy "secret" friend because I feel if it needs to be kept secret, then it is up to NO GOOD regardless of who is in it, but Robs is open to all, and I accepted.

This is just my opinion. I do not mean offense to anyone in any group...but when one needs a "secret" hand shake as another pointed out..I would run fast and far just because of the secrecy they demand to be kept which has never boded well in real life or in personal lives and it really does not bode well for ONLINE lives...again , JMO.

I do want to say, is that I feel this forum is one of the best there is...in people's opinions which I always respect, sometimes disagree with but still respect it...I also believe, there should be no need for "secret" clubs..since we are all here for the same thing, supporting and being there for each other in any way we can, even in argumental ways (nicely though) which helps us grow and learn.

Well, I'm pretty candid about who I am. While my mental illness is not a personality disorder, I don't talk about it in the open forum usually.

You really want to know more about me? Ask me, I'll either tell you or tell you to mind your own business. Either way, you will get a response.

when you join a club like the VFW, Moose Lodge, PTA, Bridge Clubs, private Poker games I am sure that they ask a few things about you an want answers before you can join maybe not the PTA
Heck even nursery schools you have to divulge personal imformation
Private schools also an I am sure not all that APPLY are accepted

Rambler you keep bringing up in your post as to how much money yall spend what does that have to do with it an it doesnt say how much we deposit that is a private matter
""""We spend about 4 to 6 K a month in Rival and Microgamming Casinos per month; we assume there is some sort of platinum club for this, lol, unless in Hong Kong."""""" I am sure the Casino has a club you can join the amount of money spent has nothing to do with a club here

This is Bryans House an we abide by his rules when you post please post facts as some of your post tell a different story on your wife trying to join the club

players try out for football basketball baseball cheer leaders an get turned down every day

you apply for a credit card (((personal info galore)) an get turned down do you write them about being rejected ask them to pull the online process to apply for credit?

as in your opening post you say said member worked for a casino which one please we are all waiting on that one?
Neuter the meister what do you mean by this?

    Good Luck

If this group is all strangers to you then why is it that you asked to join?

Let me put this in plain English Brigid Bishop, lol; did anybody claim anything else re: who invited who; and why are you bringing another member's name up, chu chu. I didn't see him join this conversation. Are you speaking for him?

Apparently, no good turn goes unpunished. You even turn on your own group when the light of day is shined on you. The more excuses and made up stuff propegated about joining this group, the more it makes it looks like you are trying to defend what is essentially, indefensible, by trying to turn portions of this site into a secret society that can't even keep a lid on what happened or it's little secrets, lol.

I am done posting in here, if anyone doesn't get my point now, just keep posting made up stuff and dig yourself in deeper. One more point, I only brought up money to show we are avid gamblers as a hobby and would think to be welcomed in any legimate group in this forum as this is the premier gambling web portal on the internet and love everything Bryan and most members do to make gambling fun and legitimate for all of us.
