    29.99 taken out checking account

I can't recall where the thread is, but didn't somebody post that they had mysyteriously had 29.99 taken out of their checking account? Today I had that happen to me. I was able to reach the processor, but they won't tell me who the merchant is, but they will be happy to refund my money. THIS SMELLS

If you are asking about money taken from YOUR account then you have every right to be told where it went, as how else can you determine whether it was a legitimate deposit made by you, or a fraud or mistake.
Have you deposited $30 at any casino, sportsbook, or poker room recently, as this will be where the 29.99 debit came from. If you "charge back" a genuine deposit, you will end up on a negative database and will have problems withdrawing from other casinos, or even opening accounts there.

I don't use my debit card for gambling, only a visa/netspend card. The processor was mbillingsupport.com, and the merchant was freethelogic.com?

You seem to have found out both the processor and the merchant now. You now have to find out who "freethelogic.com" is, and how they got your details to make the charge through the processor. If you don't use your debit card for gambling, do you use it, or your bank account, to fund your visa/netspend card?
If so, then it may be something to do with that, such as putting $30 on your Netspend card some while back, and either the charge has been duplicated, or delayed.
Once these explanations have been ruled out, you can then look at explanations that involve some kind of fraud, or "dodgy dealings" by part of the online industry.
If "freethelogic" turns out to be a casino deposit collection scheme, you then have to see if it's casinos have EVER had your bank details, or your debit card details, maybe from some while back before all this trouble started.

Hey Vinyl, how are you? Do you know by chance why the processors are doing these XX.99 deposits?? I guess the odd # must be more attractive to the processor or something. Anybody else that can fill me in go ahead. Thanks.

Just about everywhere I play does this now. Just curious

FWIW, the domain name freethelogic.com is not registered and there is no mention of "freethelogic" on the web. That doesn't look good.

I have tried in the past to use my debit card at online casinos, but only 3dice, inetbet. I have called my bank to dispute these charges as it is definetly not from my normal day to day transactions that I make, not magazine charges, and to top it off, I talked to mbilling and they said they were the processor for freethelogic.com and I asked what kind of business they had they quickly asked if I wanted to reverse the charges without giving me any info. STRANGE

    RE:

From my understanding, the reason they use $xx.99 or xx.95 is because it looks like an actual purchase from somewhere and not a gaming transaction. Most things you order online or at the store are .99 or .95. If the transaction is not being run through with the gaming code there's no real way to tell what it is.
