What MG slot's hot - and what's not!

Following on from discussions in other threads about Microgaming slots running 'Hot and Cold', I thought I'd start this thread so we can share info to see if it's true, or just codswallop!
If people post what they're finding each day, others can have a try and see if there's any pattern!

Here's mine for today (so far!):-

Cold: What on Earth - 550 spins, just 4 crap features.
Cold: Thunderstruck - Feature on spin 23, then nothing for 200 spins.

Hot: Tomb Raider - 188 spins, 2xIdols, 4xLauras! (Won back all my WoE loss + interest! )
Hot: Spring Break - 110 spins, FOUR features!
    .
Snow's over - back to work - nothing to see here...

Spring Break feature on spin 94 - won 86$ at 90 cents...

    Went on to Tombraider...

    3 idols on spin 32 - won 11.10$ at 75 cents
    3 idols on spin 110 - won 22.40$ at 1.50$

Everything else was pants with Lara and I left after 150 spins had cost me 30$

Oh.. went to Thunderstruck - feature on spin 8 - won 1.05$ on 9cents spin - rather crappy.

Free spins again at spin 46 - won 1.65$ on 9cents spin

Managed to do 150 spins from my original 1.80$ bankroll spinning at 9cents before I went bust...

not that this thread will actually measure anything..

(though if it does, it could prove that the slots are cheating)

But it would make more sense to post your percentage returns for each slot (total won/total wagered).

Talking simply about how many features you hit is like trying to find out the final score of a baseball game but only talking about singles.... Features are just part of the story. The rate of return (and whether that changes from day to day or week to week) is what would give you the most complete information.

My prediction is that MG slots don't cheat and that you will find no statistically significant variation in the payouts thru time.

    Hi Jamie,

I think you've missed the point of this thread.
I'm not trying to prove the slots are 'cheating' or to establish what the overall payment over a long period of time is. (I expect that to be 90-95% - so what? I don't care!)

The idea is just to see if the same slot is hot (or not) across all the various MG casino's at the same time.
It's just a bit of fun really - but it would be VERY interesting is there was a link.

I thought about adding the P/L stats, but again that is not the point of the thread, and it would be asking too much of some people.
When people play the bonus feature slots what they want to get are the features - and lot's of them! (Am I right, or am I right?)

PS: Your Baseball reference: I have not the faintest idea what you're talking about!!!
(And I don't want to know - we don't play rounders in England. )
Snow's over - back to work - nothing to see here...

the less sense you make!! How could you possibly measure whether a slot is "hot" or not except via payout? You completely contradict yourself if you say you don't care about it. If a slot is hot, it will have a higher payout. If slots are actually hot at one time and not at another, this would be measured via payout. If this did actually change, the those machines would be cheating.

You ask for information and then claim you don't want it. You're like "Let's talk about which slots are hot, but let's not ACTUALLY try to figure anything out"

I have completely followed your point. I just took it the next level and you didn't follow.

Do you really want to measure whether slots are hot or do you just want to talk nonsense? If you want to just talk nonsense, I can try to remove myself from your conversations. If you actually want to figure anything out, I am very interested

    Jamie,
    I want to talk nonsense.
I would greatly appreciate it if you would refrain from making any further comments in this thread (unless they are to simply give the information I am asking about - which is: what slots are you hitting lots of bonus features on?).
    Thank you very much.

PS: If you want to start your own thread about % return from MG slots, I would be happy to supply lots of information for you!
