Personally, I think anyone who tries them now is taking a HUGE gamble. I don't care who "owns" them now. Actions speak louder than words and they haven't proven themselves in the past. Give them a year to pay the affiliates and players they owe money to. How many chances should they be given before they are rogued forever?

In the greater scheme of things, if it weren't for the affiliates who advertise for them, they wouldn't have much of a member base. Every business needs advertising of some sort to expand. If a rogue operation stops paying for the advertising, where are they? PAY THE AFFILIATES WHAT IS OWED! Pay the players you shafted. Other than mass "spamming" which I've encountered in the last 6 months from them (whether through email or snail mail) they're following a close runner-up to Virtual, IMO. I never was a member with their group (that I can recall), so I find even the snail mail "ads" for them a little disconcerting.

I'm going to vote NO, only because there isn't an option for : "let them prove themselves in a year and then move them to the proceed with caution" selection. Their previous "tactics" and "strategies" to maintain a player base is definitely roguish and they need to prove they are no longer the wolf in sheeps clothing...

Even if they have changed management etc... the mass boycott by affiliates probably means they have not many players left. So how are they doing financially? What if they do have good intentions, but not the cash to back themselves and end up going under.

Maybe this is round 2, first they screwed the affiliates out of $$ and now they're after the players...

Something else for players to consider is that if they do decide to return to GP and it all goes tits up, they'll probably find it hard to get any sympathy (or help) from affiliates.

    Hi All,

First off I would like to say that everyone and anyone deserves a second chance.

Now after going back and reading past threads I would have to say sorry but "NO" I would not give them a second chance.

You have So many casinos (3dice,32red etc) that have ALWAYS been on the up and up since day ONE of operations. The good operations understand that the clients/players who are the MOST important to them and in saying that will always provide a top quality honest casino.

It would be an absolute injustice to even consider putting them back up when you have 32red going out of there way to make sure the client is happy AND satisfied.

Why on Earth would we want to give Grand Prive another chance when you have the good ones working there butts off to get us on board as players. I'm sorry but it is obvious the greed for money surpassed the desire to look after the player and affiliate so why even consider them again.

    On another note:
Bryan we all come here because we know what your site stands for. I say make an example of them so CASINOS know NOT to take casinomeister lightly as bad PR does afect them here and the word does spread, "you rip a player/affiliate off and off to the rogue pit with you" and thats where they stay.

Don't get me wrong SOME do honestly deserve a second chance due to poor casino management but us as smart people can see that this is not the flavor for Grand Prive- for whoever owns the place now.

Them wanting to come back on the ACCRED list just goes to show how affective this place is and bringing them back on board,well- it kind of reflects that anyone could come back on board.

Um - I think you might be a little confused here. They were never "Accredited" - they just want out of the rogue pit and I'm making my decision based on the membership's opinion.

    It's like that old saying...........
"Once a cheater will always be a cheater."
But if you hear positive things going on I would say Yes.
They have many negative things that come with them at this point in the game.
I say make a poll in 6 to 8 weeks.
It's all on Time Will Tell.
To make it all good I would say (Just from Casinomeister's forum)
Give everyone here a free $25.00 free chip with no WR.with a max cash out of......
And lets see how that goes.
Just a thought if they want to make good with everyone.

They should stay in the pit until ALL affiliates are paid ALL earnings. There are still those out there that have not been payed. Once this is done they should spend another year in the pit before moving to probation. What they did was wrong in too many ways. May they Rot In Peace (or let the rats rip their flesh).

if they garner 50 % of votes, de-rogue for 3 months and then another poll whereas if they get 70% de-rogue for another 2 years. multi-stage deroguing hehe.

It took them years to even consider paying what they owe - and then it is settlements with strings attached, and they really should just pay up.

They breached contract, and they went against their own T&Cs.

Whether a place mistreats affiliates or players is really quite irrelevant.

If you have a neighborhood store that short changes men but not women, would you vouch for their character? Would they be a trustworthy business?

What I don't get is that it would have been an easy thing to just pay up and be on the road to redemption. Just from a business point of view, that would have been the smart thing to do, and it would have started to mend the distrust years ago. We wouldn't even be having this discussion now.

For the most part the amounts owed are not staggering. So I just don't get it - why risk your reputation because you want to nickel and dime the people you owe to? It makes no sense, and the longer it goes on the more people hear about it and the more damage is done to the reputation.

Or maybe they just don't realize that this is the internet, and it is not a place where you can do wrong and simply move to a new place where no one knows you. Even if you change all names and domains etc, people will root you out. Plenty of examples of that here at Casinomeister.

I am all for redemption, really, I am the type who does give out second chances. And even third ones. But I was raised with the motto that if you do something wrong, you fix it.

And that remains the way I look at things in life. There is not one of us who hasn't done something wrong at some time. What counts is to right the wrong. Some things are hard to fix, some may be impossible.

This is easy to fix, so just fix it.

    NO for now...

Are they under new management or is it all the same - same people that scammed ?

I agree also with Dominique why not pay all the affiliates what you owe them? Will get you thumbs up at least!
