Hi Alan,
You're right. The online casino "review" sites are nothing more than affiliate portals that disregard the player's sanity for the sake of making a quick buck. Casinomeister, while it itself is actually an affiliate site, has ethics, and Bryan does an excellent job at staying current with the online casino climate.
You can check a whole list of online casinos that are considered accredited
here, or by clicking
CM Casinos on the top-left in the link menu.
I see that you're from Minnesota. We USA players have significantly fewer options when it comes to gaming. The only options I'd recommend are:
- 3Dice: Independent casino that, without a doubt, has the most hassle-free banking process and best customer support in my experience. Friendly environment. However, all slots are incredibly high variance, and the casino has fewer games available than those from major software providers like RTG and MG. Finally, 3Dice doesn't have nearly as many bonus offers as other casinos. Nonetheless, 3Dice is my casino of choice (but, then again, I usually don't play slots).
- Accredited RTG Casinos: By far, the majority of USA-friendly casinos use Real-Time Gaming software. There are, of course, good RTG casinos and rogue RTG casinos, so be sure you've checked the accredited list before playing at one. I'd personally recommend Jackpot Capital: I got a 24-hour withdrawal including the time it took to verify documentation.
- English Harbour Group: This group of casinos runs on the Vegas Technology software platform, and has a pretty solid reputation on the board as far as I can tell. You have to be 21 to play here, though, rather than the usual 18; therefore, I can't speak from experience.
Hope that helped! Be warned, though, that depositing into casinos is becoming increasingly difficult for US players.
