Clover rollover game on William hill

Hi everybody

This is my first post here so please be patient with me as i am not sure im in the right place.

What i am asking for help with is this;

I have been playing the progressive jackpot game on william hill "clover rollover" since about june this year and my losses are very heavy now i agree that i have somewhat been addicted to this game but a couple of days agi i came to the point were i said enough was enough as this game does simply not have a fair payout.

I am not saying this as a bad loser or with anger but really to the point that i was always under the impression that every game a person played had some sort of odds of winning on but this to to my amazement i am told is purely a random game that pays when it wants to.

I have been in touch with william hill and been told my complaint is being looked into by managment as i have raised the issue that i dont think this game gives us players a fair chance of winning,and it is no wonder the jackpot currently stands at some 3.6 million pounds and raising by the hour.

I am absoloutley furios that wiliam never have bothered to show the odds or state that it is a random paying game as i was always under the impression that there was a winning ratio to these games.

I have also launched a complaint with the gambling comission and also the makers of the game who william hill directed me to.

I asked wiliam hill for my stakes losses and winnings to be shown to me either by post or email and they have told me they can not do this at the present time and will have to raise this issue with the managmenet also.

I smell a rat here and can not for the life of me see how this game is fair i even whilst talking to the advisor from william hill this morning deposited a further 30 pounds and explained to her that to please watch as i knew this money would also be lost,and as predicited it was.

I am waiting for a repsonse of william hill regarding all of this but what i am really seeking an answer to is why can they not provide me with a statemnet of my losses and deposits to date and also who do i go to make a proper compliant about them as the gambling comission seem really only intrested in the bookmaker and make other people aware that the clover rollovergame on wiliam hill is seriousley rigged.

No, the answer is no this was never sorted i was fed a load of nonsense from Matt Green and William Hill and never got to the bottom of it,they told me all about fair play and how much id staked yet could show me nothing..

I really think you should be adding William Hill to your rouge list as they are a joke when it comes to fair play and fair payouts also, making you wait near on 3-4 days to be paid out to your bank account... hence the player been dragged back into the games with their winnings and more times than not losing them again....hence again turning players into gamblers!!

I think the old casinos in vegas used that trick in the films when being run by the old gangsters..

I honestly belive after all the sites ive visited and played that william hill is no way near what they claim to be and are shaking us punters down.

All in all William Hill is a poor poor site and anybody who even thinks of using it must be a glutton for punishment as this is all you will get...punished!!!

I originally started this thread with the problem with this game and no today in January i have just noticed the jackpot has gone down from 3.6 million to 500k.

I was a bit miffed by this so i asked a william hill rep who or when it had been won as surely a massive jackpot like would have been publicised on their site!

Hey Brooklyns. I like to play Mega Fortune, who also is a progressive jackpot. I know it sucks when somebody hits the jackpot. But anyway. I do not think you have any case here, you might be disapointed, but the payouts on progressive jackpots- slots are lower than other machines.

I know that I would ask for anonymity if I won a big jackpot, so that might be a reason.

I agree. The william Hill team should have known when the jackpot was hit. A jackpot win like £3-4 mill, would usually been all over the site (as advertisement)

But...

I do not know what kind of casino provider William Hill uses, there is a change that the progressive jackpot is connected with other casinos, so it is not certain that the jackpot was won at William Hill. I know that Mega Fortune (NetEnt) is connected through many NetEnt casinos (Betsson, Unibet, Betsafe etc...)

Thanks for the info mister Dave. That probably explains why the CS at William Hill did not know when the jackpot was won. On the other side, I think that the CS should have known this (or had the opportunity to look it up) , when William Hill offers play at the jackpot machine.

After reading this thread, it appears Brooklyns insists that William Hill should be 'rouged' based on the following :

1. Casino will not provide play logs upon request

2. Casino will not provide name of progressive winner

3. Player lost a lot of money

4. Player insists progressive is 'rigged'

5. Casino takes 3-4 days to pay to a bank account

6. Casino does not display odds and fact that game is random.


The only valid issue here is #1 - all casinos should be willing and able to provide game logs. I don't know why WH say they cannot do this - I would love to know how they audit gameplay for bonus compliance

Apart from this, the OP is just ranting because they became 'addicted' to the game (by their own admission) and chalked up a big loss as a result.

The OP clearly has little or no understanding about slot games and how progressives work. I find it difficult to be sympathetic when someone doesn't doesn't make any effort to educate themselves about something before they throw their money into it.

Brooklyns - let this be a learning experience and stick around the forum here. The best weapon you can arm yourself with against the casinos is information.
