Dollaropoker case

I tried e-mailing casinomeister about this before but they bounced and/or got no reply. Most obviously i wish to get a reply here.

As a mid/highstakesplayer of Dollaropoker i came to your site when i did research about Dollaropoker and i found the case about the Swedish player that lost over 100k.
So i asked my contacts about this case and they said they don't know of a case like that. They asked if you could give any more details such as the name or nickname of the player and/or the affilate or anything. I hope i didn't invest my time in rumors.

Well, this is not quite the way I would have handled my first post here. Normally, folks at least introduce themselves and then "politely" tell their tale for the members here to try to help. They even say such polite stuff like "Gosh! This is really a great site, glad I found it!" or at least ask for help without the attitude this sentence "I hope i didn't invest my time in rumors."

In any case, if you would like to be here and get assistance, you might try reading all the forum rules and all about the PAB (Pitch-a-Bitch) system the gracious Casinomeister offers to people needing help.

After reading, you should be in a better state to ask for help. Key word, ask.

Sorry if I sound rude, I seem to have some problems with a "snarky attitude" at times. Most folks here just ignore me or try to get me to play nice. And I try, because this IS the best site on the internet for gamblers.

I'm very sorry if i offended you by saying that i value my time. In no way i meant to disqualify this forum and/or community and/or the casinomeister himself by saying that i hope to not invest my time in rumors.

The reason i'm on this forum although is not because i like to read all the forum rules or participate in all the different subforums that exist on this site.
The reason i am here is because i regularly play for thousands of euros on Dollaropoker and i highly value integrity.

So after i found out about the case of a Swedish player that lost 100k on Dollaropoker i asked my contacts about this case and they couldn't tell me because just Swedish player that lost 100k didn't rang a bell for them. So then i went to this very site and clicked 'contact'.

I sent an e-mail to to the casinomeister, which resulted in this:

Delivery to the following recipient failed permanently:

Technical details of permanent failure:
Google tried to deliver your message, but it was rejected by the recipient domain. We recommend contacting the other email provider for further information about the cause of this error. The error that the other server returned was: 550 550 No such person at this address" (state 14).

At that point i became a bit annoyed because not only did i invest my time in this case. I also used time of my contacts to go after this case. But the site that presented the case didn't provide further details and the e-mail they put on their site doesn't exist. But i was still determined to go after this case so that's why i'm here. I hope you can understand my position better now.

Ummmmm...I've read your posts three times and I still don't know what you are on about. ..???

Did you try any other email address? Or would that be wasting your valuable time?

I want the (nick)name of the Swedish player and/or the affilate and all information that could be helpful to identify the case.
And yes, i 'wasted' my valueable time with trying another address.

You probably already know this thread but maybe it helps,

,coenie

Yes, he got paid.

Hi guys,

Well after giving bank wire details over 3 months ago it looks like this thread got the attention of whoever it needed to and all my money got bank wired but 11,000 euros however it looks like that will be cashed out within the next few days.

If a mod could change the thread title to say its resolved that'd be good.

Thanks,
nextgenneo

I'll tell ya, we sure wasted our valuable time trying to teach somebody some basic forum manners, Nifty. I am always amazed at the complete and total arrogance of some people, especially when they can't find their way out of a paper bag. Then, you try to point them in the right direction (how to act nicely) and they just....do....not....get....it!

Sometimes I think, if I was a moderator, there would be very few posters! :p

Just kidding, guys!! :D

No, I am not!! ;)

Hi Bluffraise,

Thanks for the heads up on the email address. We recently moved servers and that's one email address I forgot to recreate :o

As for the Swedish player who was screwed over - here is the warning that went up last year:
https://www.casinomeister.com/forums/threads/dollaropoker-confiscates-100-000-no-explanation.33483/

And this was his complaint from 9 August 2009:

Dear Sir,

My name is xxxxxx and I live in Sweden. I have had major problems with a pokersite called Dollaropoker (www.dollaropoker.com), a friend of mine recommended me to contact your site.

I have been playing at Dollaro for more than 1 year and my account balance is € 100848.

At first I was able to withdrawal limited amounts, i.e. about 3000 very seldom. This is very little in relation to the stakes I play at.

It starded to become more and more difficult to withdrawal money.

The only way to contact Dollaro is through Skype, none of the mails I have sent was replied to.

My account was locked and then unlocked, the service staff in Skype postpone everything, they say "you will have answers etc within 24 h, 3 days", but nothing happens.

I spoke to a guy (Giacomo Rosa, nick: il chirurgo) who is one of their affiliates. He told me that he had a solution for my withdrawal problems, that he could open accounts and pay my wins directly to my bank account.
So since I had problems with withdrawing, of course I got interested.
Giacomo opened 2 new accounts, "Risky_business" to me. And "Unreal" to my brother. (The name of my first account is Replay).

After only a couple of days of play they locked the accounts.(on the 8th on june) The only answer I get I have to wait...Now I have been waiting for a reply for around 2 months.

the account balance when the account got frozen:
Replay: € 73400
Risky_business: € 13000
Unreal: € 14448
total: € 100848

We made no less that four attempts to contact the casino - all received no response - Max posted a warning about them, I covered this in last year's Halloween Youtube presentation, and they were rogued. I've never heard a thing from this casino.

My advice would be to stay clear of this operation.

I got a reply from my contacts who investigated this case.
On Dollaropoker players have to cashout through an affilate, all withdrawals of this player have been successfully paid out.

What are the connections between the player and the affilate?
And could you get him to post on this forum and/or contact me?

WTF????

Who ever heard of that? Sounds like a load of garbage to me.

Maybe you could explain what you mean by 'cashing out through an affiliate'.

That the affilate takes the money from the account and sends it to him on another site or his bank.

This may sound as 'garbage' to you but this case isn't about your perception. This case is about a Dollaropoker player that mailed this site so we have to get the facts straight.

Let me get this straight.

Let's say I play at this place and win something. I then have to withdraw my winnings through the affiliate that referred me and hope that he will be honest enough to send it on? I beg to differ - that is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard.

Please clarify what you mean if I have read it wrong, however that is the way you described it.

Take a chill pill.

I wasn't insulting you or attacking you - just stating that the method you described was too silly to even contemplate.

I didn't say anything about who did or didn't email who or what the main thrust of the thread is about.....it was just a general question about what you posted.

If you don't want replies or questions etc, then don't post. Sheesh.
