    Thank GOD for Casinomeister!

I just wanted to publicly thank Bryan, Max, the robot, the muppet and the rest of the gang for what they do here.

A lot of us (myself included) see this forum as a second home. We come here to socialize...or complain when we don't win...or brag when we do...or just pass some time. Let's not forget that the real reason this site is here is as a player advocate. Until you actually NEED it, you don't really realize how important it is to have someone fighting for you.

Without getting into all the gory details, we recently had to make use of the PAB service after Ray had his very first progressive win - which should have been a very exciting occurance but ended up being a frustrating and stressful nightmare. After repeatedly banging our heads on the wall and being stalled and unable to get anything except for standard form replies or non-responses or excuses, we were finally contacted this morning by someone higher up the ladder who was actually helpful and was able to get the ball rolling.

There's no way that we would have gotten anywhere on our own, this was all due to the efforts of Max and Bryan.

The full withdrawal amount of slightly under $34,000 was just processed this morning and should be arriving shortly.

So thank you thank you thank you! From me AND the guy who learned his lesson about playing non-accredited casinos.

    WTG Max and Bryan!

You know, you would think that an operator who has a player winning big would be smart enough to make the whole experience a positive one in order to reap the benefits of favourable publicity and the endorsement of the player in his or her player community.

This sort of treatment of a player detracts so much from the goodwill such a win should generate both with the player and with other players.

Hard to fathom such an approach by an operator - or an owner that is so out of touch he doesn't know that his management or staff are screwing a rare event like this up. :mad

In due course it will be interesting to have confirmation that the money was received safely...and where it was won.

In all fairness I think it needs be said that Bryan did the heavy lifting on this one and deserves the credit for the happy outcome. Without his getting personally involved ... well who knows, but it certainly helped in a BIG way. He 'da man!

I'll post when he receives the $$ in his hot little hands. I can tell you right now that the casino was a new(ish) casino in the stable of William Hill. In all fairness to WH, once Bryan was able to contact someone in charge there, they fixed the issue. (Thanks MATT!) But the problem is that Ray as a player didn't have that option. He had no recourse and no way to contact anyone to help - he was dealing with the individual casino's customer service (who were clueless) and a VIP Host (who was useless.) Without casinomeister, the William Hill guy would have been unreachable by us and this could have dragged on forever.

Thanks! He can now afford to pay for the new fridge we had to buy yesterday!

Amen to that, but you softened them up for him. Thanks for everything.

Glad it all appears to be worked out. Nothing worse than winning then wondering if you will get paid...

That is precisely why I don't ever play at any casino rogued, and honestly, first priority for my dollars goes to those casinos on the accredited list.

so I echo the Chayton's sentiment.

Hiya: See, this is the whole point of this site vs other affiliate sites. It is one thing to send a player to a Casino, and say, "Trust Me", vs saying, "I will go to bat for you if needed", and actually getting out the Baseball bat.......

FYI...There are reputable affiliates (myself included) who go into bat for players.

It really get me frustrates me when players make generalised statements like this. Especially given the number of top affiliates at CM such as Rob; webzcas; Simmo!; KK...ect...ect

I get annoyed by statements like this because noobies read this stuff and start thinking ALL affiliates are scum bags.

    Cheers
