I believe the "Temp Meter" is a "Probability" degree about how close the slot game is to hitting a decent winning combination since its last good hit.

I sorta see it like Simmo - if the temp is high it just means nobody's won the jackpot for awhile. At Royal Vegas the My Slot game meter is stuck at 999 and has been for about a month now. So if I took that as a sign that the game was ready to pop, imagine the amount of money I could have put into it by now.
Maybe Skiny's right and it's just broken....
That being said, I do look at the meters....but it doesn't really effect what games I choose to play. Although if Supe or Isis is at 80 I usually don't bother to play them. So maybe it does.

The way I veiw a slot that is "stuck", at say the 999 degree, is that it is not updating. Thus, I see it as not having a temp meter.
Usually the multiline slots will change continuously and some rapidly, but the ones I have tried that were "stuck", more than likely played like an 80 degree game.
The classic single line slots however can be at the same digits for a very long time, only increasing a little at a time over days or weeks. However, when I was getting the bigger wins on Jungle 7's the meter was moving up a degree at a time throughout the day. This didn't mean I would be getting whopping wins with every spin, but as my screenshots show I was getting some exceptional wins, which on this type of slot I have never done that well before. In between those good hits I was getting the small hits also more frequently than normal for this slot, which allowed me the opportunity to play longer for the bigger wins to roll around. Then it can be high but level off and play like a cold game. So one just has to feel it out. My silly pipe dream for Jungle 7's, was the hope that I would hit the jackpot while the meter was so high, but this was no logical thinking.
When a "High Variance" slot like this is cold, most of the wins 98% of the time will be the small stuff, cherries, mixed bars and very rarely a coin combination. Playing it according to the meter I hit the double coin combos more frequently than I have in all the years of playing this slot all together, 25x pay. Then it goes into a level off mode as I found in my last sessions where it was not giving the double coins wins at all.
The other thing I have to keep in mind is that even if it is in a hot paying mode, I may not be the player that will necessarily get that big hit. But I stand a better chance testing it off and on while it is in the higher degree.
So again, the temp meters are not a "Jackpot" meter, it is a game "Enhancement" feature that if used properly can give you better return and longer playing sessions for your money.
Isn't that we all want anyways, more quality time for our money spent?
Funny to see how the thermometers at 32RED stopped moving a few days after this thread was posted, and they havent moved ever since.
They switched them off.
Should have kept my big mouth shut..
Any more proof needed that they work(ed)?
So true!!! The ones at All Jackpots are stuck as well. But sooner or later they will move again, just keep an eye on them.
edit: Once they figure everyone has gone back to, "they don't mean anything attitude", then they will turn them back on![]()
Yeah, you're right, it is just a gimmick!!!!! Don't be fooled by those "Gimmicky" Temp Meters!!!!![]()
when you go at supermarket,,,whatever is on the middle shelves..(easy to see and reach).its what the supermarket owner want to sell the most..![]()
Well, Kakata, I really miss those shelves in the middle right now.
As we all know about the temp meters, they are just for fun but I´ll miss them.
I can´t choose machine now.
Has anyone ask them about it? Why are they stucked?
And, if they are not moving for days they are lying.
And is it more people than I that found ot that aussiedave started this thread and mentioned that he looked at the meters and now he has won more than most of us will win during a lifetime(on slots)?
Take those funny meters back, we know that they are just a gimmick...
We will not use it to choose machine again, we promise..
The coincidence about the extremely high temp at Break da Bank again and aussiedaves massive TWO wins on that one is great.
