No-one is forcing players to take bonuses at any casino.
Some people like them, some people don't. So what?

Well that opinion is contrary to what Max has outlined and there is no doubt it is better for the casino than the player...but its all about opinion so thats cool.

As I said, its not about taking bonuses all the time for me....its being offered something reasonable for the times my bankroll is low as a loyalty reward, and max cashouts are unacceptable to me when Im risking my own funds....make the WR higher or whatever, but dont cap the wins. Its my opinion and always has been well before rival came along.

As for whether people like them or not - surely that is the point of offering them in the first place. Its a simple business fact that if you dont give customers (players in this case) what they expect, they will go elsewhere, which is the whole basis of what I was saying. Im not bitching because I cant get a free chip etc...Im bitching because Im being treated poorly by being completely bonus banned. Its important to me that, after Ive made many bonus-free deposits without any luck etc, to have something to give me a bit of a fighting chance with a little less risk - if they cant be ars*d to even offer me something small, then why would I want to keep playing there?

I will continue to play mostly without bonuses, but ONLY at places where my custom is valued - and there are plenty of places that do this with far better terms etc than rival and dont dump me the second Im $5 ahead. AFAIC its their loss.

I have also taken max cashout bonuses earlier but I don`t now. Max cashout bonuses helps the casino to raise the RTP without pay for it.

It`s also a way to insure the casino that they are not losing money on offering bonuses. A WR isn`t the same thing. Even with a WR of 50 times bonus+deposit you are able to cashout a lot.

I don`t want to support that kind of behaviour.

As said before, the really serious casinos doesn`t have to do like this.

There are several ways for a casino to get more customers, the easiest way is to offer "better and better" bonuses. To get insure to win in the end the casinos:

*put time limits on bonuses
*have max cashouts(as low as twice the deposit)
*bonus ban players who has won in the past
*bonus ban countries(!)
*have WR that is almost impossible to fix
*restricted games and strange rules about them, it would be easy to make the software stop betting on those game during a limited bonus

The max cashout rule has been to popular lately, to make those bonuses disappear among honest casinos we have to show the casino that we are not using it.

The best way for a casino to get popularity in the end is to be honest, quick withdrawals, other extra fun things like tournaments, pleasant support staff and smart casino reps on different forums.

i've definitely seen my share of horrible promo offers. i remember unibet once gave my 3 credits for depositing 3.. this wasn't a joke, it had everything about it as a normal bonus. why not just offer 3? no one with their head on right will dep 3 to get 3.
