    Lucky Network Closure

Lucky Network is closing down. To be honest I cant say Im surprised, it was nigh on impossible to cash out there after countless deposits, at least for me. They needed to learn that players who never win never go back and obviously they didnt.

    I'm devastated by this news...

Their games were really good - similar to RTG, but better.
I've been impatiently waiting since April to start promoting them, because I'm sure they would have been very popular with players. But they never got as far as launching their affy program, which IMHO is probably why they've gone tits-up. If they had got affiliates involved they would have increased their player base multi-fold and probably would have survived. Madness!

I'm double pissed because I spent about 2 days work and quite a few £'s in preparation for their affy launch - all for nothing, and because that's another great software going to the graveyard, keeping company with Player Preferred and Wizard

What a complete waste of effort...

I do agree. Some of their games were very good and the software could and would have made a nice change to the regular brands.

BTW, how do you know they're closing - did they send you an e-mail or something?
Only on their website it just says this:-

    Spin.

See how long this lasts, since most upgrades are done VERY quickly to ensure players can keep playing (and losing).

If the site said they were closing, they would be inundated with support requests from players wanting a timetable, and guarantees that their money was safe.

This is the email that i received

Dear Valued Player It is with great regret and a heavy heart that we announce that our Casino, Lucky Network, will be closing on Monday 14th December 2009. If you currently have a balance with the casino, please either play out your balance or withdraw your balance before our closing date. Please note, if you have received a bonus, the wagering requirements are still in place for all bonuses as well as redeemed/comp points. As a matter of goodwill, all players that are not able to play through their credits or cash out their withdrawable balance by Monday 14th will still be able to contact our customer service centre via support@luckynetwork.com, for 14 days after the closing date to request credits to be cashed out, should they have met wager requirements. You must include your player username with your request. To any players with pending withdrawals, your withdrawals will be processed during this period as per your designated withdrawal request. All funds remaining in casino accounts after Monday 14th will be retained by the casino. We hope that you have enjoyed your time with us as much as we have enjoyed having you at Lucky Network Sincerely Lucky Network Casino

hahahahahahhahaaa.... *more laughter* *claps hands* hahahahahaaa

as i emailed them in reply to this closure email im overjoyed and knew 100% they would be in trouble and close...

remember ages ago when i got the no deposit bonus there and had £40 to cashout... they made every crappy excuse concerning ID to not pay me, 1 minute i was going to be paid the following day, the next i cant be paid unless i have government id, passport or drivers licence (i have none)

i remember you saying vinylweatherman in my thread concerning "money laundering" and id about how its going to batter the amount of customers..

not well known software + slow payouts + not using common sence when it comes to adaquate forms of id + crap staff = Dealer Busts (which i had predicted)

and wasnt this the casino that originally said in the terms that they will pass on your details to other people if you bad mouth them? as well as having software that often was as slow as loading something up on dial up? and by the looks of their closure email address... Lucky@me.freeserve.com and Network@me.freeserve.com it seems far from professional.

and to think if they had actually paid me that £40 i would of been an active depositor (mainly for the fun of the games) and refer a fair amount of people to play there,

What about the poor sods with Christmas their concern at the moment. If they don't act on what was initially just RUMOUR that they were closing down, they will have all their funds CONFISCATED for the benefit of the casino.

Looks like a "cut & run" job.

The website said NOTHING about closing down, just some "maintenance". There was clearly some intent to give as little notice as they could get away with, and it seems that they only admit to closing on the 10th or 11th, leaving THREE DAYS for players to discover this, complete any WR, and submit their withdrawal. Further, these 3/4 days were OVER A WEEKEND, meaning many MORE will have been caught napping.

Other casinos close in an orderly manner, and give PLENTY of time for players to withdraw their money. Since the site is down, what's the betting that those players with outstanding WR will have "technical problems" accessing the casino to complete the WR, leaving the casino to pocket the cash on the 14th.

Clearly, the earlier signs that said "this looks dodgy" were SPOT ON.

Intertops MGS were a casino that closed in an orderly fashion, and there were WEEKS to complete WR, and withdraw any remaining balances. Even AFTER the complete closure, you can get your money back through support.

Maybe their draconian confiscation clause is because they don't actually HAVE all the money needed to cover player balances, and are doing what all those dodgy "money back in 5 years" cashback deals were doing, making the procedure so hard that most eligible customers would fail to meet the procedural criteria.
This was similar to what got the Intercasino "free flights" promo into trouble, "too many" of those who qualified actually WANTED their flights, and the supplier had predicted a much lower percentage would be able to comply with the restrictive small print.
