Hitman free spins multiplier

I was playing Hitman a few days ago and noticed that the free spins multiplier is 2x - has it always been? I'm almost positive it used to be 3x when the game first came out. Anyone remember?

It's always been x2.

Thanks KK - maybe I just thought it was more cause it used to pay out better for me.
