Insider Q & A in the works. Suggestions?
For some time I've been thinking of arranging an interview, or series of interviews, with casino insiders to get straight answers to some tough questions. Recent discussions here have reminded me of the relevance of doing this, and sooner than later!
So far the kinds of things I have on the menu are fairly technical: - stuff related to RNGs - client-server communications - the problems -- real or imagined -- with bots So here it is, your chance to have me ask the industry pros just the kinds of questions you've always wanted answered. Post them here, no holds barred, and we'll see if we can't come up with a seriously probing and interesting interview for these guys. That said, I'll be honest: I'm not going to do a hatchet-job on the interviewees. I want this to be something that will give us all some deeper insight into the casinos and how they go about their business and to get there this has to be fair to the casino people too. So no personal agendas, no questions about secret information, etc. I'll be picking and choosing from the questions offered here based on what I think is reasonable and interesting. I cannot promise that your question will make the list but I do promise that I will give it serious thought. Ok, fire away!

I think part of the reason that you didn't get an answer is because it's not a question they can or will answer. Such things are always taken on a case-by-case basis and most casinos won't simply kick you out because you are a winning player. They will kick you out if they suspect you of cheating but they usually need some evidence before they'll move in that direction. Of course some of the less professional casinos will behave more erratically on things like this.

How different are table games from slots in how winners are chosen?
Is that why we get so mad and accuse table games of being "rigged"? For me, anyway, a losing spin on a slot doesn't ever look any more suspicious than a winner. But I've often shouted "Bullshit" after two or three table game hands. Many of us are familiar with how a deck of card flows since we've been playing with them since infancy so I think that's why we get so bent over a seemingly impossible set of hands. But isn't the winner or loser determined upon the bet made as opposed to after the game round is played out? Like any other slot? And aren't those incredulous series of hands just the result of the programmers laziness writing the possible winners and losers or that the "shuffle", if any, would require way more instructions than are probable, or affordable simulate a real shuffle?

Sorry bernynhel, I don't see your specific question(s). Spell it out in 20 words or less per question.

I've got one...How are ongoing bonus offers figured? Specifiically, I'm not interested in the signup bonuses, but more the promotional offers sent to us that I'm sure are different for all players.

Maybe you could address the requirements for identity proof.
Not everyone drives, and even among those that do drive, many UK residents don't have a photo licence. And passports are not as common as many casinos think they are. Some members have expressed concerns about Identity theft when they are not allowed to mark passports VOID or leave out issuing numbers or such as well. |

Why casinos don't "install" Randomness Control option?

I think the issue on the bots is very important.
I mean - how can they devise ways to prove one way or another. My suggestion would be for them to be able to observe which programs are running on their player's computers at the same time the casino is open - but this could lead to lack of privacy on the computers - if their employees over stepped their boundaries. However - that would be one way to implement a "trustworthy" application tool to determine if a BOT was indeed used.

Hiya, Again......
OK, Ask This. Some Casino's, "Bodog" as example, will return money to your account if you lost it all. I never keep tract of how much exactly, but i think it is like, lose $800, and a day or so later you have $80 or something like that back in your account. This being the case, Is that a set % of the money lost, or a set % of the total money bet? thanks.
