Five things you like to do besides gambling

    Inspired by this thread:
    http://www.casinomeister.com/forums/...ng-online.html

I thought it would be a good idea to list things we like to do besides "gambling". I'll be adding a number of these to our "quit gambling" section for when members get a bit discouraged and want to find entertainment or activities elsewhere.

    My Five things:

    Playing bass guitar
    Working in the yard
    playing games with the kids
    reading non-fiction
    writing

These are just off the top of my head

Hospital Readers (read books for kids) We are always looking for good readers.
American Red Cross are always looking for Volunteering people that have a heart.
You have many groups to pick from.

I say if you pick one pick
Hospital Readers (read books for kids) We are always looking for good readers.
Go to your local Hospital and see what they do.
Some places do not have a program in place but it's worth it if they do.

    Traveling
Auctions (most favorite thing except for grandkids visiting)
    Reading
Bowling (until the balls got too heavy )
House decorating/remodeling (mine, your, anyones )
Gardening (Love the dirt and flowers that come from sweating the plantings)
Grocery shopping (not clothes just groceries, love grazing in Walmart)
Casino Gambling (of course, but not high on the list of things to do)
Horse racing (two or 3 times a month)

I think I am now officially exhausted...I need to narrow my list down !

playing/coaching hockey, watching boxing and jumping in the ring now and then, golf, fishing, watching football. those are the selfish things. charity work is in there somewhere but is a different kind of satisfaction....
i consider myself a big "player" not a big "gambler". there is a big difference...
