    Neteller Question

Well, maybe this is the wrong forum but i will take my chanses =)
I have a question about neteller and withdrawls!

How come when I make a withdrawl to my bankaccount it stays pending and reversable for a few days.
Does anyone know if there is a way around this since getting rid of it should speed up the withdrawl.
Usually casinos (the ones I play) pay within hours and to then get stuck at neteller sucks...
Maybe I should get their bankcard?

    Well - anyone know?

I use their prepaid Globewallet card and it works much better. Usually within 12-18 hrs after a withdrawal the card is loaded and ready. The two downsides are a) it's not Chip&Pin, but you can still use it in most places and b) it only lasts 1 year.

I've just received my new card, and it's good for three years

Is that the NetPlus card? And if so a) do you have to load it from your account like at the moment and b) is it Chip & Pin ?

Would that be the Net+ card? Got mine just before Xmas and money is available as soon as it is in your account (no separate loading required) and its chip&pin. Worked fine so far (but its empty again).

Yes, it's a Net+ and I DON'T have to "load" if from my account - if I make a withdrawal on the card or use it (at Amazon.com etc.) it debits my account directly. Woo-hoo!

Damn. Prefer the manual load because then you're not tempted to gamble the money away

When you go somewhere (like a restaurant or shop) and use the card and they ask you to tap in a PIN number - thats Chip & Pin.

This shouldnt happen. I asked some while ago, and was told that it would leave "pending" the next working day (ideally) and I then had the usual 3 to 4 day wait to see it in my bank.

I am wondering if this (taking days to act on the request) is merely a tactic to make the Net+ card more attractive. They are REALLY marketing this like their life depended on it - they are even "spamming" their own customers with emails that completely fly in the face of common sense, as all have an " apply now, click here" link in the email itself, a big NO NO in the fight against Phishing attacks. Neteller should be telling us they would NEVER invite us to log in from a "click here" link in an email, something my BANK is doing constantly.

It would be very easy now for a genuine phishing attack to target Neteller, simply by sending Net+ and promotional emails with a "register/apply here" option, the same as with genuine Neteller emails.
