Call support and have them change it before you deposit and win. They will confiscate your winnings and deposit for violating their terms and conditions on depositing in the currency of your country

Cool, I thought as much! Don't wanna win big and have it all taken back.

Is this from past experience, or just erring on the side of caution?

You will find a ton of posts on the forum of people who have had this happen to.On the terms and conditions, it is usually one the last terms stated, so many people look over it. Please don't make that mistake, Get it fixed.

Good move Rob! Pro-active is the best way to go... How hard is it to communicate? Though I didn't see any term there about currencies either, Mark's advice was spot on.

    My three rules for casinos:

    1. Communicate
    2. Communicate
    3. Communicate

Well, the high profile this issue has had recently seems to have saved it's first unwitting victim BEFORE the first deposit. Now casinos are reaping the mistrust they have shown by the mass confiscation of winnings. This player at least will NOT be depositing straight away, and by having to make sure will also be able to get a feel as to how good, or bad, the customer service is likely to be in the longer term. Generally, casinos will see a greater interval between players showing interest, and making their first deposit. If this delay impacts on their cashflow, the industry only has itself to blame for this increasing player paranoia. Such terms often ARE buried in the small print. It takes time to do the research to dig them out, and read all the points with understanding.

Just make sure that after this dilligence about currency, you don't blunder into a bonus related trap term, such as playing an excluded game

Don't know what they've done since but while I look, here's something:
Fall From Grace Award 2006 III
Here we have a serious nose dive followed by a crash 'n burn. City Club Casino had been listed at Casinomeister for a few years without incident, but I guess someone fell asleep at the wheel. A player was dissatisfied by City Club Casino's games (powered by Playtech) and simply wanted his money back. He tried to contact support, but they replied telling him he needed to play through his deposit x amount of times. Since this was a Casinomeister "Accredited" casino, I felt that this was unnecessary and asked them to simply give the player his money back - a total of $99. He didn't want his winnings - he just wanted his deposit.

I received the same lame response twice telling me there was nothing that they could do, so I was pretty much fed up. I paid the player $99 out of my own pocket, and dropped the casino off of the "Accredited" list.

Le coup de grâce: when I removed the casino from Casinomeister, they came back to Casinomeister's forum and thanked me for removing them and called all the members "Bonus Abusers":

...Taking us off the "recommended casinos list" is actually appreciated. We no longer want to appear there, since the players referred from casinomeister's website are mainly bonus seekers and only wish to take advantage of the casino and of our loyalty...

This comment received a warm response from our members - not. The funny thing is, not more than a week after this happened, their affiliate manager contacted me wondering how he could advertise City Club casino at Casinomeister.

I love it when that happens.

I don't see them on the accredited list today.

Sorry so slow. But it ain't my job to do due diligence. Let us know how it turns out okay?

Yeah saw that mentioned, but I thought that might have been an exception because he wanted to withdraw his money straight away (something casinos are not too keen on), as opposed to them being properly rouge or whatever.

And all that about being greatful for being taken of the accredited list, I'm sure the manager was simply throwing his toys out of the pram
