I've got an older operating system ME, but more than ample memory, etc....and I'm on a cable modem so I don't believe speed is the problem. I'll try out your suggestions and see what happens.....thanks!
Oh, and ABCDJCVDXYZ, I'll send you all my 20th century stuff so you can learn to respect your elders

What are the recommended minimum system specifications?
IBM PC-compatible computer Windows XP or better Pentium 4 or better (or equivalent) 512 megabytes of RAM 3D video card (preferred: ATI or NVIDIA) SVGA screen 200 megabytes of hard drive space I don't know what the absolute minimums are though.

Did do the pcpitstop thing, but it didn't help. Appreciate the help from all! Thanks
