'THE OSBOURNES' ENTER THE ONLINE GAMBLING WORLD
Zany television and rock star's family featured in new slot
The much anticipated new video slot 'The Osbournes' from games developer Microgaming has been launched. The cutting-edge game, starring Ozzy, Sharon, Jack, Kelly and even Minnie the dog, is the latest high profile offering from the online gambling development firm's stable and follows in the footsteps of another blockbuster release earlier in the year branded Hitman.
The game – the product of an exclusive licensing agreement with the Osbourne family, will be available to all 120 online casinos powered by Microgaming gambling software and will soon be available in over 19 languages. It is expected to attract substantial worldwide interest from the playing community.
The Emmy Award-winning television reality series "The Osbournes" ran through to March 2005 and propelled the family into the global media limelight. Since then, all members have branched out into other successful careers, with Sharon currently fronting her fourth series of X Factor and Kelly starring in the West End musical, Chicago.
Sharon Osbourne says, “The developers at Microgaming have done a fantastic job at bringing all our family to life within the game and they’ve even managed to immortalise my beloved dog, Minnie! I’ll certainly have a little flutter.”
The Osbournes game is a 5 reel 20 pay-line slot jam packed with free spins, multiplier boosts and solid cash prizes. In the base game, players can win up to 75 000 and in Free Spins 150 000, whilst in the new Door Knocker bonus a further 50 000 is available and additional bonuses can bring in another 3 000.
In an industry first, the new game features an on-screen trail feature above the slots themselves, where Sharon’s dog, Minnie acts as both trigger and indicator. Get three, four or five Minnie symbols across the reels and ten Free Spins are triggered, together with a trail feature. Minnie will trot across the screen as free spins are achieved, moving across four levels - one each for Ozzy, Sharon, Jack and Kelly - with the goal of reaching Ozzy for the full reward - although each level carries a cash incentive if completed
