Whenever I need a brain break, I can just swivel around 180 degrees and there's my Fender bass waiting for me to jam to some rockin' reggae beats.

Take whatever winnings you have and go to eBay (or whatever) and buy some beat up guitar. Learn to play your favorite songs and be a hit at the next beach party/camping trip. Chicks dig this

come now. i always imagined him sort of a more hippopotamus-y version of barney the dinosaur. maybe simmo's "clark kent/bruce wayne" really does don a simmo suit, possibly combating crime or even just struttin down the street bobbing his head to the beat of his ipod music. muppets should endorse ipod don't you think? or has elmo already sold out and done just that? the different sesames or muppets could be matched with colourful ipods in the ad...? i digress. i think there's a funny flash movie on youtube or elsewhere called like "emo elmo" or something. might be worth googling/youtubing. still not back on track. okay, sorry what's the thread about?

baking is fun. if you're after some instant gratification (to go gamble i mean), then go find a recipe (ahh the internet, what can't she do!) and make sure to add all your favourite ingredients, m&ms, pecans, sprinkles, cherries, ground up plant materials, such as cinnamon, nutmeg, lemon zest, etc. make up a tray of a dozen large m&m macadamia cookies or whatever, but do it right and make a decent size batch. you can thereafter associate the baked goods with abstaining from gambling, and when you feel the urge to play or want to reward yourself for a deposit-free week, have a cookie. if you make them large enough you could use icing to include some encouraging slogans on them to amplify this strategy. some suggestions:

"how many cookies to kick it?"
"one biscuit at a time, that's all you can do"
"eat me after a week clean from gambling" (write this on a particularly delicious-looking one, with lots of chocolate bits and nuts etc)
"the only reliable way to double your money is fold it in half"
"gambling is anti-christian, thus anti-american, thus terrorism"
"WWJ(Ferguson)D?" <--- (this slogan could actually sell on tshirts, stickers, etc. methinks)*
"casinos take a house edge, banks give interest"
"lives irreparably altered for five minutes of fun" (anyone not heard/lived that one before?)
"wann Sie zum Spinnen beginnen, werden Sie nie gewinnen" (or in english)
"when you begin to spin, you'll never win"
"gleich wird's besser, einfach jetz vergnuegen Sie mich" (alles richtig oder?)
"things will be better, right now just simply enjoy me" (is everything right there?)
"Rheindampfschifffahrtsgeschaeftskapitan" (no auto text wrapping with icing hehe, also no meaningful translation)
"how many words could i possibly fit on this cookie, not as many as i'd like, maybe a finer icing tip is in order"

*first dibbs and/or royalties if/when this gets made lol (just did a quick google in case maybe i just THINK i made it up, but i think i'm good since it only returned one page, of what 18 billion pages on the net?)

Nah thats an urban myth. There's usually a collective groan at any beach party/camping trip I've ever been to where someone turns up with a guitar. And if it was a bass guitar, I'd make my excuses there and then
