    That should

reall be the same for everyone why on earth after reading some of the horrific stories on here would one single person wanna deposit at an online casino or poker room that has its base in costa rica for example it just does not make sense..or another classic is the kahnawake gaming commission i mean for god sake thats just as far as i know an indian tribe set up its own commission and hand out licences to anyone who pays them..My advice would be to anyone stick to UK companies with big brand names ie ,corals, william hill, ladbrokes or some irish companies like boylesports or paddy power where your money is 100% secure.

    I think that's a bit extreme.
I do agree these are the very safest, but I certainly would not have any qualms about depositing a large sum at any casino accredited on CM's site (or my own ). I doesn't matter where they are based or licensed, they have proved themselves to be honest & trustworthy.

PS: Gravedigger! I thought this was a brand new thread for a moment!

That is absolutely true KK but it will interesting to see how many people will continue to play at these sites when fully regulated ones are available.
Is there a list available of Casino sites that have applied to the Gambling commision for licenses?
I think this would be a good litmus test of integrity for the Casinos currently out there..

I think the risk of loosing your money at online casinos because of the cheeters and crooks are well overvalued. Even now.
When players face with the 2-day delays of their payments they post complaints on the forums, make calls every hour, shoot tons of emails... but after all, in most cases, they receive their money.

There are a lot of reputable online casinos that have been operating for about 10 years; a lot of casinos regulated by The Kahnawake Gaming Commission, monitored by independent organizations like eCOGRA... Payouts and fairness of the games are monitored by independent auditors (see payouts reports on casino websites) and software providers (Cryptologic, MG,...)
It's just a matter of choice - choose the right casino and play without problems.

Choose the wrong one and get screwed badly.

It should not be a gamble within a gamble whether you get payed when/if you win and all reputable Casinos will welcome regulation, surely?
